Research on Design of Cable Wireless Temperature Monitoring System

Abstract:

In this paper, a wireless temperature monitoring system was designed for cable based on Labview software, where its designed frame form and realization method were introduced. MSP430 MCU UART serial communication and generic personal-computer was selected as the main hardware part, and a suit of monitoring-controlling user software was also developed by using the Labview. Compared to the traditional measuring system, the developed cable wireless temperature monitoring system takes on some characters, such as good maneuverability, common good, strongly functions and high of performance-price ration. Besides, the developed wireless temperature monitoring system has an automatically data sampling function and an remote on-line monitoring function in real time, which could be widely applied into temperature measurement in electric power system.
