New Materials Application in Multifunctional Environmental-Protection Umbrella

Abstract:

This paper introduces a novel multifunctional environmental-protection umbrella. The umbrella is mainly composed of an umbrella surface, an umbrella skeleton, the umbrella strut and the handle. The umbrella surface is alternately covered with thin film solar cell that realizes the solar absorption function. The top section of umbrella frame is a transparent luminous tube which can provide lighting when walking in dark. The umbrella bar is provided with a folding fan, bringing cool in hot summer. Thin film electronic indicator can display the battery electric quantity. The umbrella handle equipped with a USB interface can charge to mobile phones or cameras when necessary.
