Study on Preparation of Modified Ti-Based Lead Dioxide Electrode and Degraded Methylene Blue

Article Preview

Abstract:

A modified electrode was prepared by the electrodeposition of a lead oxide layer on a titanium substrate. Characterize the electrochemical performance of electrode by adopting CHI860D electrochemistry workstation while evaluating the electro-catalytic performance of electrode with Methylene Blue (MB for short) solution as target degradation product. The results show that the interlayer proportion of SnCl4:SbCl3 is 6:1 when the thermal decomposition temperature is 550°C, the electrode material prepared in plating solution with a concentration of 0.15mol/L has excellent electrocatalytic performance against MB, and the degradation rate could reach above 98%.
