Abstract:

In order to be competitive companies evolved towards a Computer-Integrated Manufacturing system. We present in this paper an overview of potential applications of Augmented Reality that can provide positive results to the CIM approach. Also the paper comprises the results regarding how Augmented Reality is successfully tested and implemented on a FESTO assembly line.
