Abstract:

Recently, in order to solve the problems that most of injection water explorations faced with further enhance oil recovery and the scarcity of water resources, the CO2 flooding technology is widely developed and applied in the oilfield. As the EOR technology, the CO2 flooding has been widely used all over the world, which is characterized by wide application scope, high displacement efficiency and low cost. But, various pipelines and equipments suffered a severe CO2 corrosion in the exploitation and transportation process. So a scheme of reducing tSubscript texthe corrosion rate of pipe and improving the service life of the pipe string effectively should be put forward to ensure the CO2 flooding field test smoothly running. In this paper, Yushulin oilfield is took as the practical background, and the influence of CO2 partial pressure, temperature, flow rate, PH and other factors on CO2 corrosion rate is analyzed. Finaly, the corrosion condition of CO2 flooding well in Yushulin oilfield is determined and corrosion protection methods are presented by combining theoretical prediction and field monitoring.
