Abstract: A new vertical vibration roller is applied in Huanghuazhai arch dam for 60cm RCC with 2+10+2 rolling times. According to the detection results of thick concrete, the compactness meets the design and code requirements. Thick RCC technology can accelerate concrete construction progress, cut down project time and economize investment, with higher popularization and application value.

Abstract: The Yangxi main bridge for 49+120+49 m the self-anchored suspension bridge, the main girder procedure full framing in situ girder construction, bridge tower using piecewise casting method construction, use scaffolding as construction operation platform. Main cable construction using prefabricated parallel wire strand method (PPWS), first within the plant into steel wire strand, roll in the drum on delivery to the bridge site erection points, with traction rope by stock installation in place. Saddle the fission lifting, cable clamp installed application to the calibration of jack import screw tension 420 kn, and three times repeated tension, sling the factory-made after installation in place. Can be used as the same bridge comparison and reference.

Abstract: Spray distribution uniformity is a very important performance of nozzle. This paper analyses the spray uniformity of the spraying machinery as well as the influence factors. Spray distribution coefficient of variation of nozzles varies with the different spray pressure, spray pressure and spacing. The nozzles of lechler ST made in German were tested to present the optimum spray height with different spray pressure and spray spacing through analyzing the trend of coefficient of variation varying with the different spray pressure, spray height and spray spacing. By the test, the greatest impact on spray uniformity is the pressure of the spray bar, followed by the height and the spacing of the spray bar. By analysis of the spray distribution coefficient of variation, we find the optimum combination of the spray pressure, spray height and spray spacing.

Abstract: Information technology has been applied in construction management and is gaining in popularity in recent years. This paper explored the state-of-the-art research and made a comprehensive literature review from two aspects: ‘IT supported construction process surveillance’ and ‘IT supported built infrastructure evaluation’. Multiple sensor technologies (including GPS, RFID, UWB, video camera and laser scanner) and their applications in construction management were introduced separately. Then some of the author’s ongoing research was introduced briefly with two future perspectives envisaged. In the near future IT supported construction management is expected to become a rapidly increasing area and has far-reaching impact in industry.

Abstract: The sliding formwork, combining high efficiency and low cost, is a kind of advanced technology in the construction of sluice pier of hydropower projects. Number of jacks and elevating shelf spacing are two important parameters in the structure design of sliding formwork, the mathematical model of the relationship between manufacture costs and jack number, spacing between the elevating shelf was established using polynomial least square method, the best value of jack number and spacing between the elevating shelf were calculated by using the simulated annealing algorithm, thereby optimized the design parameters of sliding formwork structure, whilst expatiated the technology of installing, debugging, sliding and disassembly of sliding formwork, put forward the feasible methods for solving the problems that often appeared in the construction of sliding formwork, summed up the merits of sliding formwork, analyzed the technology and economical benefit of sliding formwork

Abstract: Based on the project on F2-4 plot of Pearl River New Town in Guangzhou City, manual plastering protective layer construction technology of exterior mesh for super cross-section CFST cylinder is fully studied in this paper, the proposed new technologies of outer tube mesh and dry mesh are qualified with fast construction, energy conservation and environmental protection, low cost for later maintenance and so on. The new technology has good prospects for development and can be promoted widely.

Abstract: In order to verify the application effect of fiber grating strain gauge in concrete hydration heat measurement, the relevant experimental researches were carried out. First, according to the formulas of concrete condensation hardening adiabatic temperature rising, the regulation of temperature changes in the concrete condensation hardening process was calculated. Then the observation results of concrete condensation hardening temperature by fiber grating were analyzed, and the variation regulation observed was summarized, and the variation regulation was verified by temperature sensors embedded in the corresponding positions. The results of the study shown that, the measured data by fiber grating can reflect the temperature change rule of concrete well. Therefore, it was feasible to measurement the temperature change regulation by fiber grating.

Abstract: The temperature control including environmental temperature, preheating temperature, post-heating temperature is the main factors to reduce the welding residual stresses and lower heat influence zone at welding line. Their three relationship are discussed in this article, and optimized by the means of the field test and practical operation, a series of construction points and supporting measures has be summarized at the ‘Dun-huang station project’ and ‘Yu-zhu project’ , which is proved very effective and can be applied at the similar environmental district.
