Abstract: The urban traffic usually has the characteristics of time-variation and nonlinearity, real-time and accurate traffic flow forecasting has become an important component of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). The paper gives a brief introduction of the basic theory of Kalman filter, and establishes the traffic flow forecasting model on the basis of the adaptive Kalman filter, while the traditional Kalman filtering model has the shortcomings of lower forecasting accuracy and easily running into filtering divergence. The Sage&Husa adaptive filtering algorithm will appropriately estimate and correct the unknown or uncertain noise covariance, so as to improve the dynamic characteristics of the model. The simulation results demonstrate that the adaptive Kalman filtering forecasting model has stronger tracking capability and higher forecasting precision, which is applicable to the traffic flow forecasting.

Abstract: During the DFIG maximum power tracking control process, the rotor side converter is only based on the wind turbine speed to regulate the active power output; it almost no provides effective inertia. DFIG could add auxiliary virtual inertia control system, when the system frequency is reduced, releasing the rotor "hidden" kinetic energy to support the grid dynamic frequency.

Abstract: The final objective of retinal simulation is to construct an artificial computer retina to replace the biological retina, and to offset the vision-impaired people. Due to the complexity of the retinal structure and the great number of bipolar cells and ganglion cells in retinal (exceeding tens of millions), both the speed and accuracy of the simulation of the retinal up to date are at a low level. In this paper we present a method for the simulation of inner plexiform layer of retina based on Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) parallel algorithm to achieve the maximum utilization of CPU and Graphic Processing Unit(GPU), and to improve the speed and accuracy of the retina simulation.

Abstract: Oil is important energy nowadays. Most oil products, such as gasoline, coal oil and diesel oil, are important fuel too. Tanks serve as storage to preserve various petroleum products. These dangerous inflammable articles require not only as much safety protection as possible but also safety intervals between tanks. Once a fire occurs to a tank, its combustion expands very fast and violently. Without sufficient intervals, chain reaction is very possible to happen and cause a disaster out of control. Fire of oil tank is not common, thus experience of extinguishing such fire is also extremely lacking. Therefore, it is important to research on tank fire and report quantified data. This study adopted numerical analysis method to simulate a fire in a tank area by applying Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), and investigate the effect of various related parameter on tank fire. The anticipation of this study is to provide fire protection information of various types of tanks in order to reduce the impact of such fire on environment and resource.

Abstract: Fatigue has a serious influence on people’s production and life. In this paper, which using the discrete Fourier transform algorithm to segment and extract person's facial image, so we can have a effective monitoring of people’s fatigue state base on the facial characteristic. With the help of the parameters characteristic of the Fourier transform, we can extract the key facial information from the image and achieve accurate position of the eyes. Simulation results show that the use of discrete Fourier transform to the exact position of the human eye, having a greatly improve on the operation speed of the eyes position system, and improving its accuracy and robustness.

Abstract: Nowadays, the companies must adapt their business processes changing more dynamically in accordance with rapidly changing market conditions and IT systems. This paper extends our previous method, which shows a novel approach to integrate a service system. In this paper, we focus on the integrated problems of the Business Process Management System (BPMS). The service is encapsulated as a SCA service component, which is extended to be a service surrogate. Meanwhile, the XML-based process template is used to define the composition process. An interactive access control strategy based on service components is also proposed. At the end of this paper, it is applied in the textile-order process management system (TPMS) as a case study.

Abstract: With the rapid expansion of the campus scale and the increasing of the geographically dispersed campus, how to adopt new theory, new method and new technology to realize the equipment optimized assignment and the information management is a new research challenge. It is the key to safeguard the national fund to use reasonably, and to speed up the development of education healthily. Through analyzing the domestic and foreign related research works, the paper proposed that it can take use of the spatial data expression and analysis with Geographic Information System (GIS) to realize the large-scale and inter-campuses equipment optimized assignment and information management. It discussed the mathematics model and the system architecture. Moreover, the paper described the key implementation technology in great detail such as spatial data mapping with MapInfo professional 9 and the development of WebGIS functions with MapXtreme. The results show that the solution is feasible and effective.

Abstract: The traditional centralized single mode becomes a “bottleneck” of remote sensing image processing which cannot meet the needs of future remote sensing image processing development. Fortunately, the distributed parallel computing has provided a turning point to the quick calculation of remote sensing image. This paper presents the cluster computing environment based on the MPI, and advances a project of a parallelized design to the gray level co-occurrence matrix algorithm. Moreover, the experimental data, which is due to the parallelized algorithm running in the cluster, is recorded and analyzed in several respects such as different nodes, time, speedup, efficiency and so on. The analyzed result shows that parallel computing cluster based on MPICH can efficiently improve the speed of remote sensing image processing in the case of more complex algorithms. However, when the number of node increases, the consuming time decreases, and the efficiency will decrease at the same time. So, it is rather important to keep the balance between performance and efficiency. The nodes can not be continuously added into computing, when the consuming time can be accepted.

Abstract: The traditional bill of lading is of great value in the maritime industry. However, as electronic communication takes over in international trade, the electronic bill of lading is now being considered first in some situations. A brief introduction of the bill of lading will be made together with a general comparison between the traditional bill of lading and the electronic bill of lading. Further analysis will concentrate on the issues of how the electronic bill of lading applies in some particular international e-commerce cases and how we can improve the new electronic data interchange system. Finally, this paper aims to demonstrate that it may be advantageous to ultimately switch entirely from the paper bill of lading to an electronic one in a modern e-commerce-driven society.
