Research on the Balance between Green Building’s Environment and Economy in China

Article Preview

Abstract:

As an important means for human beings to transform nature, modern architecture is non-sustainable in several aspects: site damage, indoor air pollution, energy resources consuming in large quantities and so on. This series of problems strongly suggest that the construction industry should take the road of sustainable development to promote green buildings. By evaluating the environmental characteristics and economic characteristics of green building through examples, this paper explores how to better achieve the harmonization between social economy and environmental protection.
