Research on Evaluation of Safety Input Efficiency of Construction Enterprise - On the Basis of DEA-Tobit Model

Abstract:

Based on DEA ,an empirical analysis was made on efficiency of safety input of construction enterprises in 2011.Furthermore,Tobit model was employed to analyze the correlation between the efficiency and safety input, and according to the results of analysis to determine the factors that affect safety input efficiency. The result indicates that accompanying the increase of safety input, the safety input efficiency, technical efficiency and scale efficiency of construction enterprise would be improved along with the increase of safety input. Meanwhile, the measures of the normative management system and improve the quality of the personnel training mode of safety was recommended to construction enterprise to decrease safety loss.
