Research on the Development Potential of China's Strategic Marine Industries -- Marine Engineering Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Abstract:

With the increasingly fierce contention marine resources and space, marine engineering equipment manufacturing (referred to as MEEM) industry to become a strategic pillar industry of the coastal countries and regions. In October 2010, the State Council issued a document which defined MEM industry is one of the strategic emerging industries to cultivate during the 12th Five-Year Plan From the three support aspects of the industry, market demand, industry and the development environment, the paper build a index system to evaluate MEEM development potential, apply AHP and variation coefficient method to weight for each indicator empowerment, and then according to the MEEM development potential evaluation value, and provide a reference for regional MEM industry development ideas.
