Abstract: Industrial molasses, along with strengthening agent, which can be served as the raw material to produce coke powder, , Investigation of cold and hot strength and compressive capacity of formed coke showed that dosing 10% of industrial molasses and 1% of strengthening agent can meet the binder production requirements. The formed coke can be the alternatives of coke nut for electric furnace smelting. The raw material of this binder is cheap and abundant in market; its production is simple, cheap and clean.

Abstract: This work reports a cationic modified cellulose hydrogel for fluoride and arsenic adsorption. This adsorbent had a high efficiency in removal of F-, AsO2- and AsO43- simultaneously from aqueous solutions, even at low initial concentrations. Adsorption kinetics showed the relatively rapid rate to reach equilibrium, as could be explained by the pseudo-second-order model and the intraparticle diffusion model within 20 min before the equilibrium. Freundlich model could fit the adsorption process best, and the results showed the improved arsenic adsorption performances especially for AsO43-, much larger than other reported absorbents.

Abstract: With the lightning position data in recent years of Jiangsu, satellite and live data on 3rd,July,2012, the reasons for the damage to office room equipment beside a communication base station in Wujin District, Changzhou were analyzed, and reasonable suggestions were given. Based on the lightning accident, this paper analyzed the reasons of lightning strike to buildings near communication base station from weather, lightning strike probability, the validity of lightning protection device and potential. It is mainly because of lightning electromagnetic pulse. Base station can protect the buildings inside the protective area from direct strike, but which increased the possibility of damage to equipment from lightning impulse, at the same time, direct lightning strike probability in the scattered strike zone may increase. Therefore communication base station should be sufficiently far away from the building, when it cant meet a safe distance, not only the direct lightning protection measures should be taken to protect the station and buildings, but also protection measures against lightning electromagnetic pulse for equipment in buildings around are needed.

Abstract: According to the extension of matter element, a quantitative evaluation model of dam risk analysis of multiple parameters is developed. Matter-element model was constructed to assess dam behavior by matter-element transform. The emergency capacity besides safety of dam and failure losses is taken into concerned during the analysis of risk of dam. Finally, a simple example shows that is more reasonable compared with traditional methods.

Abstract: Recent occurrence and distribution of 16 priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) proposed by USEPA in the northern Yellow River Delta (YRD) were studied based on the analytical data of 20 surface soil samples. The concentrations of 16 PAHs varied from 27.5 to 129 ng g-1 (dry weight). A clear tendency was observed that the total concentration of 16 PAHs is getting lower from west to the east in this area. The eco-toxicological risk assessment showed that this area is at low ecological risk region, which might not exert significant potential damage to the organisms. Four to six ring PAHs were predominantly from the coal and wood combustions in the whole area.

Abstract: Diurnal variations and personal exposure of carbonyl compounds were investigated in four types of large shopping malls (including department store, supermarket, bookstore and furniture store) in urban district of Nanchang, China. The diurnal measurements both in the summer and winter showed that the concentrations of carbonyls exhibited a higher peak at the morning hour and a lower peak at the evening hour except for acetaldehyde, which obviously peaked at the afternoon hour in winter. The indoor concentrations of LMW carbonyl compounds were found higher than their outdoor counterparts with only a few exceptions. For some high molecular weight (HMW) carbonyls (C5) especially for benzaldehyde and p-Tolualdehyde which might have stronger outdoor source (e.g. vehicle exhaust), resulting in the Indoor/Outdoor ratios below 1. The personal exposures showed that large shopping malls in Nanchang were important microenvironment for exposure to formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.

Abstract: The main components of liquid hydrocarbon leakage evaporated gas is methane, which is not only a meanly greenhouse gas, and also a kind of dangerous substances may cause fire and explosion. Study of the mechanism of the liquid hydrocarbon leakage and evaporation will be beneficial to protect environment, prevent fire and explosion accident effectively. Based on the homemade experimental platform of liquid hydrocarbons volatilizes and diffusion, the speed of diesel oil volatile in the cup was detected with the temperature of 30°C, 60°C, 90°C and 120°C respectively, and the concentrations distribution variation of vapor cloud above the liquid level of 0.4 m, 0.8 m, 1.2 m and 1.6 m was also detected in a sealed condition. The results indicate that: diesel oil volatilization has exponent relation to diesel oil temperature; the vapor cloud density has logarithmic relation to diesel oil volatilization:; and the time of forming the explosion concentration of vapor cloud has exponent relation to diesel oil temperature:. There is a peak area of concentration at about above the liquid level of 0.8m, and achieve explosion concentration in where firstly and then expanding on both ends. This paper provided a liquid pool volatilize diffusion experiment platform which can quantitatively study the volatile speed of diesel after leakage, quantitative analysis can be vapor cloud explosion concentration distribution, and the experimental results can be used to guidance for early-warning and control the explosion disaster of liquid hydrocarbon and reduce the methane to the air pollution.

Abstract: The low-dose and combined effects of aniline, nitrobenzene, phenol, dimethyl phthalate, and dichlorvos on photobacterium Vibrio qinghaiensis were predicted and evaluated by using concentration addition and independent action models. The mixtures effects were greater than single components effects, which implied that combined effect of environmental pollutants should be considered in risk assessment practice.

Abstract: Using molecular dynamics simulation (MDS) technology, the study simulates the diffusion of Ribavirin in water solution under different concentrations, and the diffusion coefficients have been calculated from the slopes of mean square displacement (MSD)-t curves. Both the normal diffusion time and the diffusion coefficient increased with increasing concentration of Ribavirin. It was found that the strong interactions were formed between the O1(Ribavirin) and H(H2O) pairs, and the higher the concentration of Ribavirin was, the stronger the interactions would be. Only the system of 10 Ribavirin /556 H2O appeared hydrogen bonds between O2(Ribavirin) and H (H2O) pairs, and O3(Ribavirin)-H (H2O) of all systems appeared the Coulomb and Van der Waals interaction. The interaction of O(H2O) and O(H2O) pairs were mainly caused by the short range repulsion.

Abstract: SARS is first worldwide transmitting infectious disease of the 21st Century. In this paper,we set a model of differential equation about transmission of infectious disease SARS. Three parameters simply describe transmitting law of SARS. Then, we forecast epidemic situation, and analyze sensitivity .Finally we analyze that SARS affect tourism.
