Abstract: The techniques of serial communication utilized in a developed electrocardiogram (ECG) monitor programmed by the LabVIEW are introduced in the paper. By utilized the VISA serial communication functions included in the LabVIEW, some functions of serial ports such as opening and closing, commands sending and responses receiving, etc. can be easily called. Then, the communication between the ECG sensor and the ECG virtual instrument is established. By this way, the opening and the closing controls of the ECG sensor, the ECG data acquisition, the data processing and storage, the real-time drawing of the ECG waveform and so on can performed simply. As a result, serial communication by the LabVIEW make the program development of the ECG monitor becoming much quicker, more convenient and high efficient.

Abstract: The data of three-dimension geological models are very large, this kind of three -dimension geological model can not be directly used for numerical simulation and must be scaled down. The reservoir parameters, especially permeability, are scaled down by the simple renormalization method. The interbeds and parts of strong heterogeneity are filled back. The simple renormalization method is good through evaluation , not only it reduces the number of grid points, but also retains reservoir heterogeneity.

Abstract: Electrical Capacitance Tomography technique is a new technique for multi-phase flow measurement. With broad application prospects, the purpose of this technique is to identify each phases composition of two-phase/multi-phase flow system in a closed pipe. A new method COMSOL was used to analysis the electrical capacitance tomography of reconstruction image and simulation research. First of all, different electrical models were established, and the reconstruction images of four kinds of representative flow were achieved; In addition, through simulation study of the field with disperse phase, the influence of the electrode number, shielding case and radial electrode to the imaging quality were analyzed; Finally, the reconstruction images of three-phase flow were achieved to obtain the satisfactory result.

Abstract: Two schemes of teleporting an unknown three-particle entangled state from the sender (Alice) to the receiver (Bob) are proposed. In both schemes, a four-particle maximally entangled cluster state and a four-particle non-maximally entangled cluster state are used quantum channel, respectively. It is shown that if the quantum channel is the maximally entangled cluster state, the unknown three-particle entangled state can be teleported perfectly with the successful probability is 1; if the quantum channel is the non-maximally entangled cluster state, the probability of successful teleportation is determined by two smaller superposition coefficients.

Abstract: The main function of the application software of the rapid inversion method of 3D apparent physical properties, and the key techniques used to achieve software are described in this paper. The core modules of the software is apparent physical properties inversion which can achieve the 3D apparent density and the 3D apparent magnetic inversion calculation, in addition, the software provides data preprocessing, reduction to the pole, the potential field continuation and potential field cut function. In software implementation process, first, compiling the calculation program modules by Fortran90 language, and then combining with dynamic link library, multi-threading and Surfer automated call technology, we compiled the visualization software interface to realize the function of the new method by C, C + + language, under the C + + Builder6.0 environment.

Abstract: Diagrams that Chongqing decision-making-oriented meteorological service products need are modeled using the geographical task processing toolbox provided by the geographic information system of ArcGIS 9.3 Desktop and the components offered by the meteorological service business system of MESIS from China Meteorological Administration. Automatic generation of service products is achieved by incorporating models into the background client.

Abstract: In wireless sensor networks, the main research objective is the development of algorithms and protocols ensuring minimal energy consumption. Most proposed solutions are based on one-layer stack model approach. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient MAC protocol that applies routing and MAC layers jointly. In this new approach, the interactions between MAC and Routing layers are fully exploited to achieve energy efficiency for wireless sensor networks. In the proposed MAC protocol, we solve the forced wake-up problem in the adaptive S-MAC to reduce energy consumption of the nodes, by exploiting routing information to wake-up only nodes belonging to a routing path. Simulation results show that the proposed CL-MAC protocol significantly improves energy efficient compared to the adaptive S-MAC.

Abstract: The shipping emissions estimation method is the premise and basis of making shipping emissions inventory, assessing the impact of shipping emissions, and promoting the work of energy saving and emissions reduction in transportation industry. The article analyzed the three main kinds of current representative shipping emissions estimation methods, i.e. simplified methodology and detailed methodology for estimating air pollutant emissions from ships presented by Techne Consulting, Tier1 and Tier2 methods from IPCC, and default approach, technology specific approach and ship movement methodology proposed by EMEP. Based on a comparative analysis of the characteristics of these estimation methods and their applicability, it was shown that: (1) the three kinds of methods from Techne Consulting, IPCC and EMEP are essentially the same, that is the emission equals to the product of the level of activities and emission factors, the difference lies in the level of detail of the activities are broken down; (2) the three shipping emissions calculation methods proposed by EMEP can be considered as the comprehensive and representative method, the default approach is a top-down method, and the technology specific approach and ship movement methodology are bottom-up approaches; (3) different methods have different applicability, the default approach proposed by EMEP is recommended to estimate CO2, SO2 emissions from shipping, and the technology specific approach and ship movement methodology are suitable for estimating the emissions of the other pollutants.
