Optimization Design of Locking Mechanisms of Small Arms

Abstract:

Locking mechanisms are kernel components of small arms. The optimization of locking mechanisms of sniper rifle was studied in detail. Using the cubic spline, A better figure of locking curve was constructed. A series of optimized parameters of gas device and locking mechanisms were also got. Results of optimization are helpful to improve the accuracy of sniper rifle and can supply an academic base for further improving of small arms structures.
