Abstract: This paper describes an overview of the general structure and working principle of brake-by-wire and steer-by-wire platform at first. We design a real-time hardware and software the system. And we use Matlab/xPC Target real-time platform to build the hardware in-the-loop platform for brake-by-wire and steer-by-wire system, we select typical operating conditions to conduct the hardware-in-the-loop test, the results show that the by-wire system testing capabilities of the platform.

Abstract: For the uncertain environmental factors existing in the vehicle systems, in this paper we established linear two degree-of-freedom vehicle dynamics state-space model which considering lateral interference, and designed the vehicle chassis coordination controller based on generalized predictive control, utilized combined steering and braking control to strengthen the vehicle yaw and lateral stability. Simulation and Analysis for the controller in MATLAB/Simulink environment were conducted, the results verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the control methods.

Abstract: To test the hydraulic steering by-wire system whether can achieve the ideal steering characteristics, firstly take experimental tests of the full hydraulic steering system, getting the transmission ratio curve. Then the simulation for the hydraulic steering by-wire system by MATLAB showed that simulation results combined with the test curve, the hydraulic steering by-wire system satisfy the requirement of vehicle working.

Abstract: This research used CFD softwares to simulate the downforce generated with the airfoil set to different height, and also analyzed the difference on the downforce when the airfoil is set on the racing car. Several pairs of front wing (FW) and rear wing (RW) of different ground clearances were chosen during the wind tunnel experiment and the results were compared with those of the numerical simulations. With the results of the simulations as well as the experiment, an appropriate solution of the ground clearances of the FW and RW for different kinds of race is provided.

Abstract: Wheels should meet strength requirements and achieve lightweight design. The analysis of structure characteristics of the aluminum alloy automotive wheels that are widely used was done. Based on the wheel radial fatigue test, the wheel's load was determined. The analysis of the wheel was done applying 3D modeling technology and FEA (finite element analysis) theory, and the results can be used as the theoretical basis of aluminum alloy automotive wheels' lightweight design.

Abstract: In high-power RF ion source, three different regions of the Hβ and Hγ intensities in the Balmer series of spectral lines for atomic hydrogen plasma were investigated. Three different regions of the Hβ and Hγ intensities were detected by the increase of input power (0-6 kW) at ICP. In hydrogen plasma spectrum, the Hβ and Hγ intensities showed three processes: slowly increase, quickly increase and stable saturation. The Stark effect in strong electrical field plays a crucial role in dominating the Balmer Hβ and Hγ emissions from high-density RF plasma.

Abstract: Geometric structure of WmBn(m+n7) clusters are optimized by using the density functional theory at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ level. For the ground state configurations, polarizability and dipole moment are analyzed. The calculated results show that: Δα varies with W atom which present turbulence change; W2B3 cluster is nonpolar, WB5 cluster has the strongest polarity, W5B2 cluster has the weakest polarity, symmetry of clusters influence polarizabilities and dipole moment.

Abstract: The standard enthalpies of formation for 7 derivatives of 4,5-dinitroimidazole in gas at 298 K were determined using isodesmic reactions at B3LYP/6-311G** and B3P86/6-311G** levels. The results indicate that the substitution of nitro group can increase the enthalpies of formation. The more the number of nitro group, the higher the enthalpies of formation. The standard enthalpies of formation of –NO2 and –CH3 substitution compounds on N atom are larger than corresponding ones on C atom.

Abstract: Two phase-field models for solid-solid phase transitions driven by configurational forces are reviewed, and the formulation of the models is briefly presented for the non-conserved case, as an example. Applications include martensitic phase transformations in, e.g., shape memory alloys and sintering in ceramic producing. They are compared with two other famous models for phase transitions that are driven by mean curvature.

Abstract: Loading behavior studies on FRP-concrete interface are refined enough. Because of the complexity of the problem, there exist relatively few unloading behavior studies. Occurrence mechanism of unloading needs to be clarified. Through a combination of theory and finite element method, this paper studied the unloading behavior involved in interfacial failure process under an exponential softening law, clarified when and where unloading occurred and estimated the effect of unloading.
