The Pilot Design of MIMO-OFDM System

Abstract:

There is MAI(multiple access interference) both inside and outside the cell in the multiple access system,which greatly limits the property of the channel estimation.Different approaches of pilot design often lead to different results of channel estimation and directly affect the MSE(mean squared error).But the use of optimal pilot sequences can eliminate the MAI in the cell.This paper presents a approach of optimal pilot design in the MIMO-OFDM system, aiming at the function of MMSE of the LS channel estimation.The approach can eliminate the MAI in the cell and the simulation results reveals that it can truely do that.
