An Improved MPPT Control Strategy Combined Neural Network and Incremental Conductance Method under Partial Shading

Article Preview

Abstract:

By studying the characteristics of photovoltaic array, this paper proposes an improved MPPT control strategy. This strategy uses the neural network to control the operating voltage of the PV array, so that the voltage does not fall into local maximum, then the incremental conductance method is used to adjust precisely to obtain the optimal tracking results. With simulation of Matlab/Simulink, this improved strategy is verified that it can track the correct maximum power point under partial shading.
