A New Displacement Sensor Design Idea Based on Scribing Number Difference

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper introduces a new displacement sensor design idea called differential line grid sensor. It can gain more impulses and improve resolution power on the basis of the principle resembling that of vernier caliper through using the scribing number difference of two rulers with relative motion. The Parameter choice of differential line grid displacement sensor greatly affects the performance of the sensor. Several special factors need considering and rules need following. The working principle, the parameter design rules and the experiment result of the sensor are introduced particularly here.
