Abstract: GFRP anchor pile is to be researched and promoted in expansive soil foundation of tower buildings and underground buildings. Expansive soil area was selected, and comparison scheme of reinforced concrete anchor pile and GFRP anchor pile was designed. Uplift and compressive ultimate bearing capacity comparison experiment was done by one grouting, twice grouting, water cement ratio and soak. The performance of the two types of anchor pile each has advantages and disadvantages. Durability, safety, economy are considered, and traditional method of anchor pile can be improved. GFRP anchor pile and reinforced concrete anchor pile can be used in combination, and that can be better used in expansive soil foundation.

Abstract: The STOIIP determines the scale of civil engineering in the oilfield, so the accurate calculation STOIIP has a very important significance on civil engineering, especially in the exploration phase few data are available in oilfield, traditional volume calculation method is hardly to provide a reasonable result. The mathematical statistics method, namely Monte Carlo simulation is introduced to calculate reservoir volumes for hydrocarbons in place (STOIIP or GIIP). This method can provide several volume results by monte carlo sampling. making the resource assessment results a probability distribution rather than a single valuation, which greatly improve the credibility and usefulness of evaluation results. The S oilfield in Malaysia are evaluated and the results show the P50 STOIIP is 4.82 MMbbl.

Abstract: The energy dissipation device is put on the support bar of the steel frame structure so as to form the energy dissipation support. The structural performance can be adjusted and improved through the additional stiffness and damping so as to realize the structural damping result. As there are many elements that can affect the structural earthquake anti-seismic performance, modal analysis which is taken as the basic contents, is conducted on the application of the common support and steel frame structure of energy dissipation support and the analysis is also conducted on the influences of energy dissipation to the vibration and cycle of the steel frame so as to lay a good foundation for the analysis on the anti-seismic performance of steel frame-energy dissipation support structural system.

Abstract: A numerical couple model of infiltration and runoff is presented which could simulate infiltration more accurately in theory. While a usually tool to solve infiltration problem is Geo-Seep software which contained in Geo-Slope package. In this paper, the difference of infiltration capacity between two above methods are researched. A numerical orthogonal test considering saturated conductivity (Ks), rainfall intensity (R), slope gradient (S) and Manning roughness of slope surface (n) is adopted to explore the difference. Calculation results show that the maximum difference reaches 38.25% and the biggest influence factor is Ks.

Abstract: In order to adapt to the particularity of pedestrian crossing of universitys passageway, as well as relief the conflict between pedestrians and vehicles, the pedestrian crossing characteristics and crossing facilities were studied. Taking Huanghe road segment near to the main entrance of Dalian Jiaotong University as the investigation object, the pedestrian crossing and vehicle operating characteristics were investigated. By the method of mathematical statistics, the pedestrian crossing characteristics at peak and off-peak period were compared and analyzed. Taking Dalian Jiaotong University as an example, based on the particularity of universitys pedestrian crossing, the design plan of pedestrian crossing facilities was proposed. The research shows that, there is an obvious time distribution characteristic in universitys pedestrian crossing. It is necessary to considerate this characteristic and security to plan pedestrian crossing facilities.

Abstract: Containers are widely used for building, in order to promote the use of container building, it is necessary to do the research on optimal design. The corresponding optimal design has been achieved through the software package of HyperWorks, the lightest total weight is taken as the objective function, and the strength and stiffness are taken as the constraint conditions. Based on the finite element analysis of the joint and corner column, the cross-sectional size is taken as design variables, and then the optimization design of joint and corner column of container building is made.

Abstract: Container, as a light steel structure, being increasingly used in building construction, containers used in construction has many advantages and applications. However, the current study mostly from the view of the architecture, as for the mechanical properties of the container building has not mentioned, that brings obstacles of the application and development of the container building. Based on the software package of HyperWorks and optimization design theory, the cross-sectional size of container building is taken as design variables, and then selected objective function and constraint functions. Finally, calculated by software, get the optimal cross-sectional dimension.

Abstract: Engery-saving buildings are not always high-cost, the construction needs to consider not only the cost of construction, but also the consumption cost in use. We adopt new energy conservation materials and remarkable management mode to reduce the cost of energy-saving building, and fight to get the most benefit with the least investment, in order to master sovereignty in the fierce competition of energy-saving construction market, and to promote the sustainable development of energy-saving building.

Abstract: The study aimed at analyzing the keywords of the oil exploration research papers abstracts in 2012 and 2013 and using the random forests model to make the classification analysis in order to find the importance and similarities of 2012 and 2013 research trends. The contribution of the study included the following two points. First, the study used the text mining method in order to explore the content of oil exploration research paper abstracts. Second, the study applied the AdaBoost classification analysis to explore the relationship of the keywords between the two years’ keywords.

Abstract: It has been proved that the construction schedule management was an uncertain problem. Traditional CPM method was a good way to define the total duration and critical paths but can not solve uncertainty. The paper use CPM to define the duration and critical path firstly, then defined the parameters with Delphi and make Monte Carlo simulation. Through simulation results, it is found that the probability to finish the work on time was only 68%. The following step is to make sensitivity analysis, through the calculation, the work which has large influence was found and treat as key control points. It is proved that Monte Carlo simulation is useful to solve the problem of construction schedule management.
