Abstract: This paper studied the characteristics of MSWI fly ash. Using cement and lime as a binder for the fly ash treatment effect has carried out in the experimental research. This study analyzed the fly ash solidification process and the best process parameters by using cement and lime and discussed the binder curing fly ash and its mechanism in the fly ash behavior. This paper provides a valuable reference for the further study on the harmless treatment of MSWI fly ash.

Abstract: In this paper, nugget growth stages during resistance spot welding between aluminum alloy and steel, such as surface breakdown, asperity softening, temperature rising, molten nugget formation, nugget growth and mechanical collapse, was analyzed according to resistance dynamic variation during welding. The effects of work pieces surface condition and electrode force on the occurrence of inter-expulsion and surface expulsion was discussed during resistance spot welding.

Abstract: ShouQin Metallic Material Co., LTD developed the high grade gear steel SCM420H for car manufactured by electric furnace compact processing route process. With the process measures such as beneficiated material principle, making foamed slag in smelting process, over roll-protection casting and electromagnetic stirring in and control coolness velocity after rolling, the results show that steel reach to high quality level with high pureness, hardenability and malleability well cooperated.

Abstract: By using Chlorides (Cl-) as the tracer, the residence time distribution (RTD) method was applied to study the hydraulic characteristic influences of hydraulic retention time (HRT) on the opposite folded plate reactor and the plate baffle reactor under the condition of steady operation of both clear and sludge water. Under the condition of the same HRT, dead zone of opposite folded plate reactor was less than the one of flat plate reactor.

Abstract: A PLS-SVM method is used in order to improve the performance matching of Marine Supercharged Boiler and Turbocharged set. Value of key parameter of processing control is reconstructed through out of historical operating data. The traditional way of parameter reconstruction is theoretical calculation, which cannot solve the problem caused by performance degradation. Experiment shows that the PLA-SVM method could lead to a more accuracy and efficient results.

Abstract: Based on the research of extreme learning machine and support vector machine, this paper does the research on the optimization method on extreme learning machine. This paper suggests an optimization model of extreme learning machine based on the improvement of the old model, and this model has obvious improvement on generalization ability and learning parameter ability. This approach can improve the development efficiency in the information technology, the experiment indicate this approach is efficient.

Abstract: This paper presents a numerical study of a vertical axis wind rotor configuration. Below constant wind condition 8m/s, rotor power performance was investigated over variable turbine configurations. Illustrated by the simulation, increasing rotor cord to radius ratio or blade numbers will enhance the generation of vortexes and flow separation on blades, leading to the significant degradation of turbine performance. It can be conclude form the numerical analysis, a vertical axis wind turbine with high height to radius ratio applied in urban areas experienced better performance when operating in optimal tip speed ratio, with rotor cord to radius ratio between 0.2 and 0.4 and blade number of 3 or 4.

Abstract: Earthquake damage many times in history indicate thatthe destroy type of large power transformer is diverse in earthquake andvulnerability is very high. Isolationtechnology can effectively reduce seismic response of the transformer and bushings,but transformer isolation layer design and parameter selection have a largerimpact on the isolation effect. Firstly, one transformer model installing 220,500kV real bushings for testing and analysis is designed which its structural dimension is closer totrue transformer. Multi-particle analysis model of the transformer withbushings isolation system (TBIS)and the equations of motion are established, and calculationprocedures are compiled using MATLABprogram. Secondly, impacts analysis on equivalent horizontal stiffness and dampingratio of the isolation layer are carried out subjectedto earthquake. Reasonable ranges ofstiffness and damping parameters have been determined. Earthquake simulatortesting of the transformer with real bushings is implement which transformertank filled with water in the test. Acceleration, displacement and stressresponse of transformer and bushings with or without isolation bearings wereobtained. Analysis and experiments show that the rational designing isolationlayer parameters can effectively reduce the seismic response of transformers andbushings. In conclusion, mentioned above research have reference role toseismic isolation design and application for power transformer and bushings forthe future.

Abstract: Seismic displacement design method and allowable values of story drift are compared between Chinese, American, European and Japanese seismic design codes. An engineering example's seismic displacement is calculated in the methods given by the four codes, and story drift are compared. Researches show that allowable story drift of Chinese code under rare earthquake action is approximately close to that of American with a 10% probability of exceedance in 50 years, and allowable story drift of Japanese code is more rigorous than other three codes. For three-story three-span reinforced concrete frame structure, in the condition of same intensity, displacement of Chinese under the earthquake action with 2~3% exceeding probability of 50-year is greater than that of American and European with 10% exceeding probability of 50-year. However, intensity plays no role in Japan's displacement calculation, and the calculation result of displacement of Japanese code is less than other three codes.
