Abstract: Spent potlining (SPL) from Hall-Heroult cells is a kind of toxic solid waste with recyclable carbon and electrolyte. The recycle of SPL by floatation, which can meet environment requirements and bring economic profits, is focused on presently because of its great potential to be industrialized and spread. However, it is difficult to get a good floatation index in floatation of SPL with carbon content lower than 50%. Therefore, the dressing of SPL with 36.1% of carbon has been investigated in the paper with the interesting potential to improve the quality of floatation products by optimizing floatation conditions, such as grinding size, pulp density and agitation speed of floatation machine. And the comparative experiment has been performed. The results show that quality of both carbon product and electrolyte product were improved under optimized conditions of grinding size of 90% of the particle sizes less than 0.74mm, pulp density of 25% and agitation speed of 1700r/min. The carbon content in carbon product was raised by 5.40 and carbon content in electrolyte product decreased by 0.26 while electrolyte recovery of electrolyte product increased by 4.58.

Abstract: According to the type of Guizhou marine sedimentary phosphorus ore, the main reason of refractory is the similar surface properties of collophane and dolomite.In addition,the interaction of dissolved components of mineral and external ion leads the new eguilibrium system in aqueous solution,which further affects the selective adsorption of the agent in mineral surface.Selecting collophanite-dolomite system as the research object, this article studies the effect of the interaction of some inorganic anions on the floatability difference of the two minerals in the flotation system. The effect of the interaction on the electric properties of the mineral surface and adsorption characteristics were also examined with the purpose to find out the interaction mechanism.It hopes to provide theoretical basis for practical mineral selection. The research findings shows that in the range of pH 3 to 5, the interaction of PO43- and SO42- has a better effect of the separation between collophanite and dolomite.The interactions of SiO32- and CO32- makes the floatability difference of collophanite and dolomite closer when the pH is greater than 9.25, and simultaneously shows some negative effects on the flotation separation of the two minerals.

Abstract: In the process of recycling phosphate ore processing wastewater, the accumulation of inorganic ions and the flotation reagents have a great influence on the flotation performance when they reach to a certain concentration. This paper studied the effect of Ca2+, Mg2+, SO42- and PO43- on the reverse flotation of phosphate ore through the single factor experiment. The experimental results show that Ca2+, Mg2+ and PO43- have less effect on the flotation performance, and that a certain amount of PO43- in the ore pulp can reduce the dosage of acid and improve the flotation result. SO42- has a significant effect on the reverse flotation of phosphate ore and the concentration of SO42- should be controlled under 1 g/L in the backwater utilization.

Abstract: The grain size of collophane and dolomite in phosphate ore is tiny, and the interaction of dissolved ions in solution and the re-adsorption of dissolved ions on mineral surface have a great influence on the flotation process. Because carbonate and phosphate have the similar surface properties, which have the larger concentration of the dissolved component in the pulp, and the dissolution, adsorption and equilibrium of mineral ions have a larger effect on the flotation process. In this experiment, cellophane-dolomite system was used as the research object, the solution chemistry of the effect of mineral dissolved ions on the flotation process was discussed. The test results show that under the open system, the pH of pulp increases and maintains at between 9.64~9.73 in dolomite natural dissolution process. While in collophane natural dissolution process, the pH increases and maintains at between 8.94~9.06, and the buffer capacity of collophane is weaker than dolomite. In the alkaline range, as the major dissolved ions of mineral coexistence system, CO32- and PO43- affect the conversion and separation between minerals.

The calculation result showed that the total lead concentration (CPbT) of cerussite decreased significantly with increasing pH below 6 or so; however, at pH of about 10, a reverse trend of CPbT may be observed. Within the pH range from 6 to 10, the CPbT of cerussite remained close and presents a minimum value of around 10-4 mol/L. This paper may provide a theoretical basis for the dissolution process of cerussite and its conditioning stage before benefication by adopting flotation method.

The calculation result showed that the total lead concentration (CPbT) of galena decreased significantly with increasing pH below 7 or so; however, at pH of about 10, a reverse trend of CPbT may be observed. Within the pH range from 7 to 10, the CPbT of galena remained close and presents a minimum value of around 10-10 mol/L. This paper may provide a theoretical basis for the dissolution process of galena and its conditioning stage before benefication by adopting flotation method.

Abstract: The content and stability of FeO in sinter are the important comprehensive indicators to assessing the sintering production. They not only reflect the quality and energy consumption of agglomerates, but also influence the smelting results of blast furnace. The effects of the FeO content of original ores on the FeO content in sinter and the creating ability of calcium ferrite are discussed in this paper. The results show that the content of FeO in sinter of hematite is much lower than magnetite. With the increasing of the FeO content of original ore, the FeO content in sinter increases but the content of calcium ferrite gets low, and the quantity of bonding phase hasn't apparently change.

Abstract: With the using of binary compound flooding in Jinzhou oil production plant of Liaohe Oilfield, problems like interwell interporosity flow and the unsatisfactory displacement effect occurs. The EOR method of combination of binary compound flooding and profile control technology has been adopted to solve these problems. The JSY crosslinking agent has been selected which has good compatibility with binary compound system by means of experiment of gel strength and gel time. And the formula system of binary compound flooding profile control which can improve the displacement effect of Jinzhou oil production plant has been formed after concentration optimization aim at improving oil recovery. The laboratory core plugging experiments show that the system of binary compound flooding profile control behaves better plugging effect and its plugging rate was greater than 94%. The parallel displacement experiments on low, medium and high permeability cores show that the oil recovery of binary compound flooding profile control system, which can improve the oil recovery more effectively, enhanced about 12% of oil recovery than binary compound flooding.

Abstract: To better reveal the laws of binary (SP) oil flooding, based on the physical simulative experimental results of Berea core (400mD), the nonlinear regression method of the probability statistics theory and SPSS software was applied to conduct a weight analysis for the main influence factors of the binary oil flooding. The results show that the three factors of the viscosity of binary system, the composite emulsifying index and the interfacial tension affect the chemical flooding recovery and the total recovery significantly. The results of the forced introduction method show that the reliability of the effect of the three factors on y1, namely the chemical flooding recovery, is higher than 99%. The stepwise introduction method and the backward elimination method prove that the reliability of the effect of the three factors on y2, namely the total recovery, is higher than 95%. The results also indicate that emulsification affects the binary chemical flooding recovery of moderately and highly penetrated sandstone cores more significantly.Introduction

Abstract: The stray current of mine refers to the current, which flows in the way of the non-regulation line in mines. When go on the mine operations, in order to achieve stray current controlf high precision, it is necessary to carry on high precision detection of Stray current. Based on traditional “point” and “line” detection, the technology of “Face-and-Body” detection is researched and the detecting way of “Face-and-Body” technology is proposed in the paper. The “Face-and -Body” detection technology is implemented in three-dimensional space on the base of mathematical model of “Face-and-Body” .The “Face-and-Body” detection device includes in establishment of the hardware and software system, and development of the stray current detection current dual output voltage sensors, and so the size and direction of stray current are detected efficiently,thereby it improves the detection precision of the stray current.
