Numerical Analysis of Effect of Restraint on the Fire Resistance of Concrete Structures

Article Preview

Abstract:

According to the researches of fire resistant experiments, based on the previous authors works, a numerical analysis of the effect of restraint on the fire resistance of concrete structures is done. The relevant effects include temperature field, saturation, vapor pressure, mechanical damage and thermal stress of structure etc. In particular, we focused on the thermo-hygro-mechanical detailed behaviors of concrete that can not be obtained from laboratory experiments, which will provide important reference for the fire resistance design of concrete structures.
