Abstract: The simulation test system was established to study the performance of the thermo-oxidative aging and ultraviolet aging of 90# matrix asphalt and SBSI-C modified asphalt which were added composite antiager. Mechanism of thermo-oxidative aging and ultraviolet aging of asphalt was also analyzed. The results proved that : indexes of thermo-oxidative aging and ultraviolet aging of 90# matrix asphalt and SBSI-C modified asphalt were improved after adding the composite antiager,and composite antiager had positive effects to resist the aging of asphalt.

Abstract: We propose a stochastic collocation method based on sparse tensor product spaces to efficiently estimate groundwater recharge. The spatial variability of hydraulic conductivity of soil usually leads to the uncertainty of groundwater recharge. Thus hydraulic conductivity in this research is treated as random variable following the log-normal distribution. Different soil columns are designed by varying the deployment of loam and clay loam. It is shown that the sparse grid collocation model produces very accurate results at lower computational cost compared to traditional Monte Carlo simulations. In addition, illustrative examples demonstrate that both the thickness and the deployment of clay layers have no obvious impact on the groundwater recharge amount under the soil depth of 3m in the specific example of Raoyang.

Abstract: During the discharge of high dam, strong collision occurred along with the energy dissipation of the high velocity aerated flow. A great deal of air incorporated into the water and formed bubbles for the water was tumbling and gyration tempestuously. A large amount of air was released from the bubbles under the action of the hydrostatic pressure, and dissolved in the water, as a result, total dissolved gas (TDG) supersaturation was caused in the water. However, the supersaturation of the TDG has some important adverse effects on the surivival and reproduction of the aquatic, eapecially the fish. This paper analysised the longitudinal distribution and vertical distribution of the total dissolved oxygen (DO) saturation and the possible causing factors through using the measured data on the discharge in the Three - Gorge cascade hydropower station, combine with the theory of the water TDG supersaturation caused by the outflow from dam. The result shows that, the construction and operation of the cascade hydropower station can lead to the higher concentration of the total dissolved oxygen in the water,and even the supersaturation. Besides, total oxygen saturation decresde with the increasing of the water depth. Furthermore, the water level in front of the dam and the energy dissipating mode have some important effect on the total dissolved oxygen supersaturation.

Abstract: Because of the characteristic of the elastic theory, the stress on dam heel is infinite, which makes the stress larger and larger with the increasing of finite element density. In view of this the dam heel stress tendency method is presented. This method uses the envelope of stress curves to replace real stress curve. In order to verify the method, Xiaowan high arch dam model under the water pressure has been set up, while the FEA modal is set up at the same time. The result of model experiment is close to the result form dam heel stress tendency method, which shows that the method is correct.

Abstract: Suger tank is complicated and its spatial performance is outstanding under loading. When calculate the reinforcement of suger tank, it is should combine the traditional structural mechanics methods with the supplementary finite element method which can consider spatial performance. In this paper, based on the reinforcement calculation principles of non-member system hydraulic reinforced concrete, a 3D model of suger tank was build, and the tensile stress diagram and reinforcement area was calculated by finite element method. The results show that this method is expressive and available in calculating reinforcement of surget tank.

Abstract: On the basis of the analysis of the basic information of the river basin reservoirs and application of chaotic ant colony algorithm, the medium-and long-term optimization operation model is established, which regards the maximum annual generation capacity of the cascade hydropower stations as the main purpose. The simulation result shows the algorithm improves the total annual power generation of the cascade reservoirs, and finally provides an effective solution to solve the cascade reservoirs optimization operation problem.

Abstract: The dynamic analysis of arch dam need to take complex coupling action of dam-foundation-water into account, so the dam is always simplified in former research. The disadvantage of simplification is that it cannot be determined how much influence on natural frequency and dynamic response can be caused. In view of this, Xiaowan high arch dam finite element model is set up, the result shows : whether the reservior is empty or full, the natural vibration frequency of the actual body form has little change compare with the simplified body form. Therefore, it is feasible to apply the simplified body form to substitute the actual body form for the rough calculation of the frequency of dam body. However, the simplified body form is impossible to present the dynamic response and stress concentration of accessory structures. For this reason, it should apply the actual body form for calculation.
