Abstract: In order to test the applicable of the two equivalent linear seismic response analysis procedures SHAKE2000 and LSSRLI-1 for class І site, 21 underground strong motion records were selected from 11 stations of KiK-net as input earthquake motions. By using these two programs to calculate the peak ground acceleration, soil maximum shear strain and acceleration response spectra. By comparing the results of the two procedures and the measured results to evaluate the proximity of these two methods and then judge which program is closer to the real situation. Studies have shown that in class І site, the results of SHAKE2000 and LSSRLI-1 differ little; but according to the measured records, there are some differences between the two programs results and the measured records. While no matter comparing from which side, SHAKE2000 is closer to the earthquake records.

Abstract: The highway roadbed seismic code is no longer applied since it was established rather early. This text modifies the highway subgrade vibration load by considering the seismic acceleration distribution coefficient successfully by software. The safety factor of a typical roadbed slope is calculated both under horizontal and vertical seismic load considering or without considering the dynamic magnification coefficient of slope. Through calculation and analysis, it is known that the acceleration amplification coefficient exerts considerable influence on the safety factor of slope. Therefore the acceleration amplification coefficient should be taken into account in the slope of quasi static calculation.

Abstract: Seismic displacement response of cable stayed bridge without back stays was studied in this paper. Based on the cable stayed bridge without back stays on Zhenshui Road in Xinmi City, finite element method (FEM) was applied to calculate and analyze natural vibration and peak displacement response of the structure. The results show that with regard to mid-span and consolidation of pier and main tower, uniaxial seismic wave input results in peak displacement response of corresponding direction is bigger than that of any other direction. Peak displacement response of the top of the main tower is bigger than those of mid-span and consolidation of pier and main tower in any seismic wave input cases, which indicates that the top of the tower needs to be focused in the process of design and construction. Seismic wave along triaxial direction has the biggest impact on the structure. Keywords: cable stayed bridge without back stays; seismic displacement response; seismic wave input; peak displacement response

Abstract: As many high-piled wharves are in an earthquake zone in home and abroad, so it is vitally important to conduct seismic design to ensure them with a certain seismic capacity. Studies showed that the wharves with straight piles have better seismic performance than wharves with oblique pile. According to the standards in China and Japan, this paper will compare the indicators of seismic performance, including the calculation length of piles, seismic inertial force, bearing capacity etc. The difference between Chinese code and Japanese code will be confirmed through comparison. The comparative results show that the differences mainly in the embedded solid position and the horizontal force etc. Additionally, according to the comparison of different depth of high-piled wharf, there is an increasing trend of the indicators with increasing depth of water.

Abstract: Pile foundation of offshore platform is very important. Earthquake is devastating and unpredictable. It is important to assess the reliability of pile foundation of offshore jacket platforms subjected to seismic action. This paper presents the approach to calibrate of reliability of pile foundation subjected to seismic action. The combination of loads are mainly investigated. The reliability of pile foundation of of QK18-1 in Bohai Bay related to 25-year reference period is3.37, which is close to the conclusion of some existing researches. The results could provide significant reference for the design of offshore jacket platforms.

Abstract: Huge investment in high-speed railway construction, whether its own operations economically rational, and how to develop a scientific and reasonable amount of high-speed rail ticket distribution scheme has become an important part of the high-speed rail operations optimization theory and applications. This paper gives a comprehensive consideration of economic and public services about the optimization model in order to maximize the expected revenue for the high-speed rail trains single objective function. Then proposed a heuristic column generation algorithm, compared to traditional linear programming methods, to a large extent reduce the number of iterations and computation time. Finally, we generate a random distribution of data to verify the algorithm can efficiently solve large-scale seat inventory control problems.

Abstract: Since the adoption of open-air policy, people make more frequent use of air travel to do various business or tourism activities. The volume of air traffic has greatly increased, along with the occurrences of traffic jam in the air. Delays of landings or take-offs and the congestions in the approach air space have become commonplace, exacerbating the already heavy workload of air-traffic controllers and the inadequacies of ATC system. Therefore, a study of flight time in ATC operation to help alleviate airspace congestions has become more and more urgent and important. Taking international airway A1 as an example, this study makes use of the known entry time, flight altitude, speed, penetrating and descending as the input of artificial neural networks; the time between departure and transfer point as the output of Artificial Neural Networks, to establish artificial neural network. Applying artificial neural networks and genetic algorithm to the study to simulate the result of actual flight, one can precisely estimate the flight time, thereby making it an efficient air-traffic-control instrument. It can help controllers handle different time segments of air traffic, thus upgrading the quality of air traffic control service.

Abstract: Coal transportation network is mainly integrated transport network of rail, road and waterway transport modes composed. Transport routes play a crucial role for transport networks normal operation. This paper combine with the definition of coal transportation network invulnerability based on edge failure and attack strategy, proposing invulnerability assessment method, combining with China's coal transportation network to analyze network invulnerability in case of side failure.

Abstract: The types and contents of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modifier are two important factors of SBS modified asphalt mixtures. Nowadays, SBS are extensively utilized to modified asphalt in order to improve the performance of the flexible pavement. The objective of this study is to determine a best selection of types and contents of SBS modifier, which can improve high-temperature stability; low-temperature anti-cracking performance and moisture susceptibility of SBS modified asphalt mixture. The mixtures with four types of SBS (Linear A, Linear B, Star A, Star B) and the different contents of each type SBS including Linear SBS of 0%, 3%, 4%, 4.5% and Star SBS of 0%, 3%, 3.5%, 4%, were evaluated for the pavement performance of them under laboratory conditions. Wheel tracking test, beam bending test and freeze-thaw tensile strength test were chosen and carried out to determine high-temperature stability, low-temperature anti-cracking performance and the moisture susceptibility respectively. The laboratory testing results indicate that Star SBS show the more effective effects than Linear SBS to improve the high-temperature stability, low-temperature anti-cracking performance and moisture susceptibility of SBS modified asphalt mixture, and the optimum content of SBS can also play a key role the improvement of the pavement performance.

Abstract: With the rapid development of our national economy, the fast process of city, regional passenger demand is increasing rapidly, high-speed railway emerging as the times requiring. High-speed railway has many advantages in essence and also some disadvantages. How to use its advantages, how to avoid their disadvantages, is important for the advantageous to improve the interests of the company on high speed railway transport department and railway sector, as well as the social development. Through the way of questionnaire survey, statistics and analyzes the main factors affecting the High-speed Rail passenger flow, provides more active mode of operation for the High-speed Rail department. This paper raised the urgent and realistic basis to improve the service level.
