Abstract: As the cultural interpretation and the most intuitionist expression vector, urban public art explain the urban space morphology, aesthetic function by the visual art, construct contemporary aesthetic culture and the public service system of the masses, manifest characteristics of urban culture value and the trend in period of social transition increasingly. It explained the relationship between public art and urban culture core value and construction of Public art in city culture construction in detail. In the end, it presented the realization of culture value taken from public art and the creation of city image by public art.

Abstract: Green ecological landscape design represents a sustainable design and development model, aims to build an environment which fits peoples health and living. Starting with its meanings, this paper makes a full analysis of its guiding ideology, characteristics and composition, and takes a practical application of the above analysis through elements and methods of residential landscape design. Finally, we hope this paper can play a guiding role in the process of our countrys landscape design toward to sustainable green and eco-design.

Abstract: The landscape spaces of Qijiang ancient town take on special combined characteristics of contrary space sequence. The space configurations are unique and diversiform, particular about the whole harmony between inner and outer environments, human and space. The space-time configurations reflect ordered, blending and continuous in inner and outer landscape spaces. The contrary space configurations experienced more than 2000-year historic evolutions. The landscape spaces have extended continuously and reasonably complying with the combined characteristics of contrary space sequences. But in the late of last century, a lot of the landscape spaces were destroyed. Analysis on the contrary space configurations and evolutions will help us to look for the relationships and rules of the original spaces, and supply references to recovering multidimensional and sustainable ancient environments spaces.

Abstract: In the rapid development of modern society, people always remember the life in the past time. Through analysing the meaning of nostalgia to find relieving stress which comes from modern society and life is the main reason for people to seek nostalgia. This paper illustrates the way to establish the nostalgic place spirit through landscape elements, material and so on based on some examples, and discuss the way to build the nostalgic atmosphere in landscape architecture.

Abstract: With the improvement of living standards, people living concept has changed, from the previous focus on practical, price and other factors, to put forward higher requirements on the natural ecological residential area landscape, environment greening. This paper first analyzes the residential district environmental landscape elements and design concepts, gives some principles of environmental landscape design in residential area, and finally puts forward the residential landscape design starting point.

Abstract: The normalized difference vegetation indexes (NDVI) of the Nansi Lake wetland in Shandong province is are calculated on the basis of MSS, TM and ETM+ remote sensing data collected by the Landsat satellites. The characteristics of seasonal vegetation activity of the Nansi Lake during 1973-2011 were revealed. The seasonal variation characteristics of wetland vegetation in Nansi Lake are not identical in the last 40 years. The NDVI in spring (P=0.0216) first decreased and then increased; The NDVI in summer (P=0.0007) and winter (P=0.0189) present a significant decreasing trend. The variation of the NDVI in autumn is small.

Abstract: The element of Chinese characters should be applied, inherited and developed in the landscape design, demonstrating its superiority, reflecting the cultural differences of nations and highlighting the national characteristics. The Chinese character applied in the landscape not only shows the visual image but more importantly, it is also the accumulation of traditional historical culture and the expression carrier of it. Landscape design conducts in-depth inquiries and studies of various aspects of regional culture, landscape environment and material element, explores representative elements of the local area, takes the relationship between "form" and "posture" of Chinese character as an important part of the artistic thinking with " implication " as a core, which reveals the inner beauty of Chinese characters to a larger extent.

Abstract: Fruit growers install wind fences to prevent fruits from dropping. To examine the effect of wind fences in reducing wind velocity, this study conducted a performance experiment, a farmhouse model experiment, and analyzed how wind fences reduce wind velocity. Among the four types of wind fence with porosities ranging between 30% and 60%, the one with a porosity of 40% showed the highest performance. Findings from the reduced model experiment that used a wind tunnel showed that wind fences with a porosity of over 50% had a wind velocity reduction effect. In addition, the experiment found that the wind velocity reduction rate is affected by the installation distance of the wind fence.

Abstract: Several complex thermal indices (e.g. PMV and PET) were developed in the last decades to describe the quantify the thermal environment of humans and the energy fluxes between body and environment. Compared to open spaces the complex surface structure of urban areas creates an environment with special microclimatic characteristics, which have a dominant effect on the energy balance of the human body. In this study, outdoor thermal comfort conditions are examined through numerical model with different transparency ratios in canopy. The intensity of radiation fluxes is dependent on several factors, such as orientation, size and transparency of canopy. Special emphasis is given to the human-biometeorological assessment of the microclimate of building element (canopy) through the application of the thermal index PET (Physiological Equivalent Temperature). The analysis is carried out by the utilization of Ecotect and RayMan software.

Abstract: By means of literature review and comprehensive evaluation among most important periodicals and newspapers and conference proceedings, the hot points about green architecture would be collect and analysis. The goals and connections among them would be got clear, and the most authoritative and normative research programs about green architecture would be found.
