Abstract: Torrential rainfall or continuous rainfall for a certain period of time may wash out the foundation of transmission towers and cause tilt or collapse of towers. Special attentions are required for the towers locating at the feature regions such as high risk landslides, mediocre risk landslides, mudslides, dip slopes, and fault zones. The towers locating inside or in the neighborhood of these features regions in Geographic Information System are identified and given different alert limits of precipitation. Accuracy and computational speed are both put into consideration in the design of the proposed approach because vast amount of transmission towers is required to process at a time.

Abstract: Structuring and measurement of eco-civilization construction is an important part of researching on eco-civilization construction theory, which possesses the practical significance of measuring eco-civilization construction level and guiding the eco-civilization construction practice. The evaluation system of eco-civilization construction level could be structured from five aspects of the quality of ecological economy and society, the development of ecological base, ecological saving, ecological protection and ecological harmony. Analyzing the main parts of five aspects by use of factor analysis method, the ecological economy and society quality played the key role in the evaluation model of eco-civilization construction level. Based on the cluster analysis on the data of inland provinces and municipalities in the year of 2012, the eco-civilization construction level of inland of China could be clustered as different categories with obvious imbalance among different areas.

Abstract: The results showed that For open areas, the bacterial number was significantly much than plant areas , 11 species of them have strong bactericidal effects, their sterilization rate were more than 40% . the ability of releasing oxygen was different for different plants in different months, but the similar law was rising in June and August, declining in July and September; in August. The results provide some basis informations and valuable suggestions for Anshun city ecological construction, improving the living environment and ecologically sustainable development.

Abstract: Coastal wetlands are the main natural ecosystem type and provide important ecosystem services. During the past thirty years, wetlands had experienced increasing pressures from occupation and degradation with coastal economic activities in Tianjin. A large amount of natural wetland had been changed into artificial wetland, and rivers had been seriously polluted. Using remote-sensing images, the recent history of the dynamics for the shoreline changes and reclamation were described. The area of reclamation land increased from 52.32 km2 in 2004 to 312.78 km2 in 2010. Following the investigation, 232 species wetland plants were found and they are belongs to 46 families and 135 genera. The community is mainly composed of herbs, and no big trees were founded as high salt content in soil and groundwater. The coastal wetland vegetation succession rules were summarized based on investigation and a wetland protection and restoration program was put forward based on the vegetation succession sequence and the landscape context. The planning includ two wetland protection sites, two wetland restoration sites, one wetland park and one wetland education site to reconstruct the ecological integrity in Tianjin coastal region.

Abstract: The rapid development of Golf in China has brought not only illegal construction in the number of golf courses, but also a certain degree of environmental problems, which were questioned by the public and restricted by national policies. Based on the perspective of environmental protection,we study the consumption of water, a lot of land encroachment, destruction of the ecological environment and other issues in the construction of Golf course by using of literature, case studies and other research methods. we propose that the specific strategies on development Golf and protect environment combined with the importance of environmental protection. Development of golf is not simply the pursuit of increasing the number of golf courses, nor at the expense of the ecological environment at the cost of one-sided pursuit of economic, social neglect, but under the protection of the environment, the premise of sustainable use of resources, and take the road of sustainable development.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the common perspective of value for lean construction (LC) researchers and practitioners. Thus, this paper aims to generate a future discussion in the construction sector about the huge impact of construction projects over the entire society and, consequently, to underline the need of an expansion of current value perspectives moving from a local context (project level) to a global context (society). LC value perspectives lack in a common idea to be applied in the construction industry as a whole. Customer-focused construction practices, where satisfaction of customer requirements predominates over societal welfare. Practical implications – Construction industry should reformulate current practices and governments, as representative of the society, should promote construction regulation policies based on delivery of value including environmental and social issues.
