Abstract: The problem about pump piping system vibration isolation that is hard to be solved at the present stage in the practice engineering was studied in this paper. Damping measures which is the necessary measure is proposed in this study. Theoretical analysis is given to the main parameter (thickness) of the influences of the damping. Based on the free damping measure, constrained damping measures was proposed and verified by the experiments. The results show that the damping effect was improved with the increasing of the thickness. Under the same conditions, the effect of the constrained damping measures was better than the free damping measures. The results have significant guidance in the isolation vibration of the pump system.

Abstract: Classic RAKE demodulator(RAKEDE), multi-carrier coherent RAKEDE and RAKEDE with two antennas are given in the paper. According to those schemes provided, the GSNR, which means the gain of signal to noise ratio (SNR), for those three kinds of RAKEDE is derived, and the closed form of the expression for GSNR of those three kinds of RAKEDE is given in the paper. Comparing with those performance evaluation methods of RAKEDE existed, the method derived in this paper on the basis of diversity reception is more usable and easy to be accept.

Abstract: A flume experiment is carried out to explore regular waves shoaling and breaking in surf zone. The topography is two-slope model, which is composed of a steep slope 1:5 and a gentle slope 1:40. The incidence waves have heights of 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09 and 0.10 m, and periods of 1.0 sec. In order to describe the wave propagation in surf zone, wave height is collected by wave gauges and wave breaking is recorded by high-speed camera. The results show that, when incidence height is increased, the breaking height increases, while the location of breaking point moves forward. When the incidence height is larger enough, the trend slow down. Besides, secondary breakup is observed in case 0.08, 0.09 and 0.10m. The transient period from primary breakup to secondary breakup is a very important phase. Computing and forecasting methods of surf with complicated topography need further study.

Abstract: This paper describes the measurement of the parameters of the experiment, the problems in the analysis of experimental data processing and experimental error. The flow pattern and pressure drop of flow boiling, heat flux and heat transfer coefficient of relations are studied by analysis of the experimental data. The test section were isolated three flow patterns, bubble-like flow, limited bubble-like flow and evaporated to dryness district. Only isolated bubble-like flow of a stream type such as channel width = 2.0mm thin channel, volume flow greater than 15.47L/h. For channel width =1.0mm thin channel, bubbly flows is limited bubbly flow changes corresponding volume flow 10.8L/h.

Abstract: Based on the RCAR test standards, this paper analyzed the low-speed bumper tests regulations, proposed the design principles of the crash-box and identified the key parameters to evaluate the crashworthiness of the crash-box. This paper built the crash finite element models of the front bumper system, used the finite element analysis software LS-DYNA and HYPERWORKS to simulate the crashworthiness of the crash-box based on different thickness models and completed the performance study of the crash-box. The optimized crash-box has good crashworthiness and it will provide important guidance to the crash-box design.
