Abstract: The relocation of Shougang and the steel project construction of Caofeidian is a national major project, according to the working life of design, the environmental classification and their exposure classes, we must consider the concrete structural durability in various ways, such as the forms of concrete structures, texture measures, the concrete materials and so on. The paper has discussed the basic design regulations, the forms of concrete structures and texture measures as well as the technical requirement of concrete materials, it is example with the concrete structures of the major projects, has analyzed the effect of the durability design for the actual concrete material.

Abstract: It was tested creep performance of C60 high strength concrete and C60 HPC to calculate the long-term creep of C60 HPC accurately, which was combined with engineering construction of Yichang Chang Jiang Railway Bridge. It was concluded the creep degree and creep coefficient of C60 HPC by means of optimization fit calculation, which gives scientific foundation for the design and construction of this bridge.

Abstract: This paper presents an experimental investigation on fire resistance of densified normal strength concrete (DNSC), at water/binder (W/B) ratios of 0.45, 0.36, and 0.32, of which compressive strength of 28-days ranged from 42.5 MPa to 56.3 MPa. The results of the spalling test reveal that DNSC encountered explosive under high temperature. Polymer fiber can be used to improve fire resistance of DNSC. DNSC subjected to high temperature lost its mechanical properties in a similar manner to that of high-strength concrete.

Abstract: It has always been concerned about seismic motion and building materials near faults, but it still remains as an uncertain problem due to insufficiency of case study and information. The paper presents the main cases of seismic disaster by field investigations of M8.0 Wenchuan earthquake, on the relationship among earthquake faults, ground motion and earthquake disasters near fault zone, i.e. the forms of structural damage are very complex in the fault areas, with main forms of shear failure and damage of tension and compression. The brittle materials such as reinforced concrete and masonry materials are prone to partial brittle fracture, and main forms are composed of up and down shake and surface ruptures. The brittle materials are prone to tension and compression damage. By using qualified materials, following building codes, the constructions in urban areas showed good seismic performance. Survey results showed that the framework and the structure of the steel and wood that use the flexible materials with flexible structures possess good seismic performance.
