This book contains papers presented at the 25th International Conference on Material Forming (ESAFORM 2022, 27-29 April 2022, Portugal). The European Scientific Association for material FORMing - ESAFORM - is a non-profit scientific association founded in January 1997 with the aim of propagating knowledge and advances in topics connected to forming processes for all types of structural materials. The present volume covers a wide range of research results and engineering solutions in technologies of materials forming and will be useful for many researchers and engineers from the machinery production area.
The results of research and engineering developments in the field of modern engineering materials and technologies of their processing are presented. Research results in materials degradation and failure, analysed of concrete properties at various cement compositions, studied processes of drying in agricultural products and some innovations in textile production are described. The presented edition will be helpful for many engineers and academics worldwide.
The results of research and real engineering developments in the field of modern engineering materials and technologies, including functional materials, materials for sensors and mechatronics, building materials based on second raw materials, technologies of wastewater treatment, and some technologies of materials processing are presented to readers in this issue.
This issue represents to readers the last research results and practical decisions in metallurgy of alloys and steel, technologies of their processing, technologies and materials for wastewater treatment, and also in the area of building materials and construction technologies. The edition presents the research results and technological developments in synthesis materials and the creation of technologies for environmental protection and waste treatment, materials for oil recovery application, advanced composites, and methods the fatigue damage assessment of materials and structural construction elements.
The volume contains papers that present the last advances in the field of sustainable materials and structural elements in construction. This volume focuses on four main topics, ranging from the investigation of the mechanics of composite materials to the discussion of the important issues connected to durability and reliability, from the analysis of corrosion of rebars embedded in exotic matrices to assessing life cycle (LCA) and end-of-life provisions of partially recycled composites.
This volume covers selected papers from the 3rd International Conference on Advances in Materials, Mechanical and Manufacturing (AMMM 2021), and 10th International Conference on Engineering and Innovative Materials virtual conference (ICEIM 2021).
