Study of New Filters Properties for Cs-137 Vapour Capture at High Temperature A.S.
Thermal treatment at 1400-15000С made it possible to increase mechanical strength of the filter based on porous chamotte factors of 1,5- 3,4, without any significant changes of other characteristics that exceeded similar parameters for the filter based on fly ash microspheres.
Fig. 2 shows how the thermal treatment affects the mechanical strength of the porous chamotte (measurement according to RF GOST №8462-85) and how the thermal treatment affects its specific surface (mercury porometry method).
–Thermal treatment of the porous chamotte at 1350-1500оС (in comparison with the original chamotte) results in the following: · increase of the compression strength by factors of 1,5 – 3,4; · decrease of the open porosity by factors of only 2,7 – 10,4 vol. %; · increase of the apparent density by 30 rel. % (from 0,40 to 0,52 g/cm3); · decrease of the specific area by 26 rel. % (from 101,0 to 74,2 m2/g) – Thermal treatment of the porous chamotte at 1550 – 1600оС (in comparison with the original chamotte results in the following: · increase of the compression strength by factors of 10-16, but causes irregular shrinking and cracking; · decrease of the open porosity by 19,3 – 52,7 vol. %; · increase of the apparent density by factors of 2,3 – 4,1; · decrease of the specific area by factors of 2,1 – 4,3.
The PCh thermal treatment improved its mechanical strength by factors of 1,5 – 3,4, without a significant degrading of the above-mentioned characteristics.

Abstract Considering the various loads combination and durability,pile’s diameter,embedded depth,anchor’s rod, anchorage length need to be strengthened in the permanent supporting foundation engineering.Based on Chengdu Museum foundation project, the influencing factors such as pile’s diameter,embedded depth,anchor’s pretentioned force are discussed.With comparasion of calculated data and monitoring data, this paper generalized influence of pile diameter, embedded depth, anchor pretensioned force on permanent pars mechanics properties.
So, under such ‘enlarged stiffness’ conditions, mechanical properties and deformation law of the pile-anchor structure as well as the impact on surrounding environment need to be further studied.

The objective is to study on inverse analysis for the mechanical properties of circulating tumor cells and estimate the mechanical properties.
The procedure proposed may be also applicable in estimating other physical and mechanical properties of cells.
However, at different hierarchy levels the structural organization of cells is characterized by certain mechanical properties.
The cell mechanical properties were integrally studied when the cell was considered as a single whole and mechanical properties of the cell structural components were studied using mechanical elastic properties. [5] In this work, we developed a 3D finite element computational model of circulating tumor cells, based on circulating tumor cells flow rolling experiments.
Summary In this paper we present the inverse analysis to determination of the mechanical properties of circulating tumor cells.

In order to study dynamic mechanical properties of float glass under blast and ballistic/fragmentation impacts, the curves of stress- strain are obtained in higher ranges by using the modified Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) techniques.
Although many research efforts have been focused upon various dynamic properties [9–11], the compressive behavior of float glass under dynamic loading has not yet been reported in the open literature [12].
Considering the quality of the specimens, the relatively big sample dimension should be adopted for the testing if homogeneous properties are needed.
Dynamic mechanical properties of float glass are studied by using the modified Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) techniques, and the dynamic stress-strain curves are obtained.
