The model can be coupled to a Monte Carlo scheme in order to introduce the scattering of the fatigue behaviour of materials in the volume element distribution along the crack path, when a material scatter parameter is known.
Among the analyzed materials, the AA6005 and AA6351 alloys present second phase particles with rounded shape, maximum sizes of 3 and 5 µm, respectively, which are constituted by α-(Fe, Mn)SiAl phase.
