The significantly enhanced absorptivity of LaAlO3 based ceramic materials may attributed to the impurity energy level introduced by doping Fe3+, which shows similar electron structure with that of Cr3+.

Abstract: In this paper, the feasibility of preparing activated carbon from corncob furfural residue with ZnCl2 by microwave irradiation was studied.
Activated carbon is a kind of carbon-containing substance with advanced capillary structure, huge specific surface area and good adsorption capacity.
It has the adsorption, catalysis, maintenance of materials in its hole agglomeration, the carbon and the groups’ ability to react with other material and maintenance of physical, chemistry stability.

Knowledge of the
hydroxyapatite surface chemistry is very important from the point of view not only of bone tissue
formation but also of HAP solubility, due to its interaction with the surrounding fluid.
Behavior of the aqueous dispersion of hydroxyapatite depends on the interfacial chemistry of the solid phase and dispersive medium.
As the studied HAP in its structure contains carbonate ions, confirmed by FTIR analysis, it is possible that they are responsible for the increased basicity of HAP surface.
