Preparation and Electrocatalytic Properties of Polyoxometalate-Based Multilayer Films Electrode

Article Preview

Abstract:

The modified electrode of multilayer films of polyoxometalate α-Na2[SiW9V3(H2O)3O37]•16H2O(SiW9V3) and polyelectrolyte by layer-by-layer assembly were preparation and investigated. The stable multilayer films were assembled by alternate adsorption of negitively charged POM and positively charged polyelectrolytes is from their aqueous dispersions. UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry were used to monitor the regular growth of the multilayer films. The multilayer films modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was used for the detection of electrocatalytic activity toward the reduction of nitrite, bromate and hydrogen peroxide. The proposed novel immobilized method exhibited good stability, reproducibility and high sensitivity for the determination of electrocatalytic, which is important for practical application.
