The paper presents the effect of acid treatment on the structure of single-walled carbon
nanotube (SWNT) bundles and on the characteristics of SWNT-based gas sensors.
In the present work, we investigated the effects of acid treatment on the structure of the SWNT bundles and on the characteristics of the SWNT-based sensors.
From these spectra, the change in composition of the SWNT bundles as well as their structure can be easily observed.
The change in composition, structure and average diameter of the SWNT has significantly influenced on the characteristics of the SWNT-based gas sensors, as depicted in Fig. 4.

The content of carbonate ions
in the apatite structure was assessed by FT-IR and its crystallinity was evaluated by X-ray
diffractometry.
The carbonate ions in the structure of the apatite and its low crystallinity are known as the critical factors affecting to the bone-bonding ability and biodegradability in vivo [2].
Its advantages comparing to the synthetic one are it can easily achieve low crystallinity, high content of carbonate ions, and porous structure because it does not need a sintering process at high temperature.
It means that the PO4 sites of the apatite structure (B-site) were partly substituted by carbonate ions [4].

Abstract.
The FT-IR spectra and the high temperature gel permeation chromatography (HT-GPC) illustrates that no significant changes in chemical structure and molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of PE after the extraction.
The recovery rate and structure characterization, as well as molecular weight of PE samples were investigated respectively.
It can be clearly seen that there is no new absorption peak emerged and also no original absorption peak disappeared during the extraction, which indicates that the molecular structure of PE did not change before and after the extraction process.
The FT-IR spectra and HT-GPC results show that there is no significant changes in both the chemical structure and molecular weight as well as molecular weight distribution before and after extraction.

Abstract.
The crystal structure of pyrophyllite, size and morphology were characterized by XRD and SEM.
The original sample of SP (Fig. 2) showed large flat crystals with occasional book like stacked structure.
Some flaky structured materials appeared to be micaceous minerals were also found occasionally as is evident.

The dynamic light scattering (DLS), the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrocospy and the Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) were used to characterize the size and the chemical structure of the nanoparticle.
According to Ulanski and Rosiak, crosslinking polymerization in the emulsion system leads to the formation of smaller particles, due to the intraparticle crosslinking and to the hampered diffusion of monomer molecules to the structure [5].
This study also revealed that the sample undergoes intramolecular crosslinking due to the intraparticle crosslinking of the radicals and to the hampered diffusion of monomer molecules to the structure [5].
After irradiation, the shape of the APO nanoparticle is unidentified and it seemed that the nanoparticle is diffused to a compact structure (Fig. 3c).

This is because of a conformation change of the PCDA backbone structure [14, 15].
Those strong absorption spectra corresponded to a conjugated backbone structure with excitation of p-p* and n-π* electrons [19].
Thus, the addition of SDS, the structure of which is similar to PCDA monomer, assists the Pb2+ binding ability of PDA.

Introduction
MMT is a hydrous layered hydroxyl silicate mineral with naturally unique two-dimensional nanolayer structure.
Furthermore, due to the weak MMT structure unit layer and the interlayer interaction, positive ions can be exchanged[6].
