The electrochemical, optical, photoluminescent (PL) and electroluminescent (EL) properties of the copolymers were studied.
Y Cao et al. [5] compared the photo-electrical and electro- luminescence properties of the PFO-DBT copolymer and the blend of PFO and DBT.
Electroluminescent properties A single layer device was fabricated in the configuration: ITO/ PEDT/PFO-DBT/Ba/Al.
The EL spectra from such device are presented in Fig. 3.
EL peaks are 8-14 nm blue shifted in comparison with that of PFO-DBT15.

The occurrence of defect modes in the transmission spectrum and phononic band structure of a one-dimensional phononic ASLS has been investigated by El Kadmiri et al.
El Kadmiri et al. have investigated the propagation of acoustic/elastic waves in a 1D ASLS containing segment defect, this defective structure can present defect modes inside gaps.

BCP was used as an electron-transporting and hole-blocking layer, tris(8-hydroxyquino)-aluminum (Alq3) as an electron-transporting layer and a complex cathode LiF/Al were deposited on emitting layer in turn by sequential vacuum thermal evaporation.
EL spectra, current density and luminance curves were exhibited in Fig. 7 (a, b, c).
The EL spectrum peaks of other three devices were consistent at 616 nm.
The EL emission from Alq3 was suppressed distinctly when BCP was used as hole-blocking layer.
