The ex situ processing route in titanium alloys utilizes thermodynamically stable ceramic particles such as TiC.
Since no new compounds should be formed during sintering and consolidation, there is essentially no change in particle size and morphology of the particles added before and after sintering.
These areas consist of a pure niobium core (a strong β-stabilizer in titanium alloys) surrounded by a two-phase microstructure.

This paper aims to study the peculiarities of a modified layer in the surface of ultrafine-grained (UFG) Ti-6Al-4V alloy after high energy ion nitrogen implantation.
However, the solubility of nitrogen in titanium is only 10 at% at temperatures to 600°С, so thermochemical treatment is usually conducted at elevated temperatures (750-950°С) for up to 6 hours to ensure diffusion mobility of atoms and formation of compounds of titanium and nitrogen.
Ion implantation is considered as a significantly studied process for a number of titanium alloys [5-9].

The increased adhesion ability of meta-aramid coatings to copper substrates was found in comparison with other metals and alloys used as structural materials.
The desire to create materials and products combining the most valuable properties of polymers and metals has led to the development of metal-polymer systems, and their compounds due to atomic-molecular forces and micromechanical effects has been termed adhesive [4-6, 17]. 2 Main part A progressive method of improving the surface properties of machine and mechanism parts is the application of various types of wear-resistant polymer coatings [7, 8].
Therefore, the aim of this work is to study in detail the adhesive properties of meta-aramid, which is widely used in the EU and the USA, with the purpose of creating high-quality tribotechnical coatings based on it.

With the development of aircraft structures design concept, damage-tolerant properties are demanded for titanium alloys [4].
Conventional heat treatments improve generally some properties of titanium alloys at the expense of others.
Therefore, the present study aimed at investigating the effect of applying solution treatment with different cooling rates and aging process on microstructure and wear properties of TC21 Ti-alloy.
