Synthesis and Microstructure of Porous Ceramics Made from Industrial Solid Residues Yongjiang Di a *, Bi Jia b, and Jun Wang c School of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing 401331, China ayjdee@cqust.edu.cn, bjiabi1127@163.com, cwangjuncq@126.com Keywords: Industrial solid residues; Porous ceramic; Porosity; Crushing strength.
The research and development of environmentally friendly materials such as porous ceramic used for filter of pollutant has become one goal of materials researchers [1-2].
The raw materials were crushed, wet milled, dried under 105°C, dry grinded, pass through 80 mesh sieve.
The raw materials were weighed, batched and then ball milled.

The raw powdered materials based on Cu-Sn were obtained using a coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator with copper electrodes by adding the crushed tin into the accelerator.
For this, a new and unique method of obtaining powdered materials in a high-speed plasma jet generated by a coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator with copper electrodes [7] has been used.
In order to produce the powdered materials based on copper and tin the coaxial accelerator with copper electrodes was used in order to obtain Cu precursor.

Some of the research works prove the efficiency of nanocomposite materials for arsenic removal from water.
Many nanocomposite materials reveal remarkable ability to remove cadmium (II) from aqueous solutions.
Still, more studies are required to enhance the stability, selectivity, and range of materials used.
