The obtained results are important for optimization of the parameters of the technological processes for production of nanocrystalline silica glass ceramics used as a host matrix for luminescence materials, each of which requires a specific porosity and structure.
Introduction In recent years, optoelectronic materials for luminescent planar optical waveguides are becoming increasingly important for many applications, e.g. for development of light emitting devices, laser systems and high-temperature spectrometers.
DSC indicated phase changes, such as evaporation of water, combustion of organic materials, and crystallization.

On the other hand, the strength of crystallized materials decreased drastically to 220[MPa] by tension, and 560[MPa] by compression.
This result shows that the high strength of Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 bulk glassy metal has a direct correlation to the atomic structure thus the strength of crystallized materials becomes very low while the strength of the materials maintaining an amorphous structure is high.

The state-of-the-art membrane technology can effectively compete with the conventional ones in the areas of energy-saving, using simple and non-harmful materials, recovery of minor but valuable compounds from the main stream, easy to operate, low maintenance process [2] to mention a few examples.
Dense inorganic membranes are made of either polycrystalline ceramic materials or metals which select specific gas species to pass through the dense material [3].
