Materials
Casein, from bovine milk was supplied from Sigma (technical grade) and used as 2% wt/v solution in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) pH 7.4.
Results The materials were obtained as casein-containing hybrids with appearance and morphology similar to casein-polyacrylamide materials described in a different work [9].

Experimental In this paper, waste magnesia-carbon brick and slide plate were used as starting materials.
The chemical compositions of starting materials are shown in Table 1.
This results in an improvement of sintering performance of magnesia - alumina spinel - corundum composite materials[5,6].
