The crystal structure, conductivity character and ionic migration of samarium doped-ceria (SDC) and its composite with sodium carbonate Fitria Rahmawati1, a, Dani G.Syarif2, b , Putri P.Paramita1,c and Eddy Heraldy1,d 1Research Group of Solid State Chemistry & Catalysis, Chemistry Department, Sebelas Maret University, Jl.Ir.
The addition of Na2CO3 does not change the crystal structure of SDC however it increases the cell parameters.
As a good candidate for LT-SOFCs electrolyte, the crystal structure of carbonate-SDC composite and its structural change of SDC structure to carbonate-SDC have not been investigated.
This research intend to study the crystal structure of Sm0.2Ce0.8O1.9 and its structural changes after the addition of Na2CO3 producing carbonate-SDC composite or NSDC, the changes on its conductivity character and ionic migration inside the crystal structure.
Meanwhile SDC keeps crystallize in cubic phase with fluorite structure and space group of .

Compared to metals, defect control in silicon is significantly complicated by the open structure of its lattice.
The aim of this book is to take into detailed consideration a few selected topics concerning the chemical, structural, electrical and mechanical consequences of the interaction of atomic defects and impurities with extended defects, the clustering of defects and impurities in semiconductors, and the interaction of small molecules on the silicon surface; the latter being chosen as examples of a type of interaction in which the chemistry of the interaction plays the major role.

To consider respective advantages and synergistic effect, preparation of SiO2/CeO2 composite nanoparticles with core/shell structure have become a hot topic in CMP field.
Generalized core/shell structure not only includes the classic core/shell structure formed by different material composition, but also includes hollow microsphere, urchin-like and capsule nanopaticles, as shown in Fig 3[14].
Meanwhile some uncoated CeO2 nanoparticles existed. 4 Summaries SiO2/CeO2 nanopaticles with core/shell structure had been synthesized by different methods.

Preface Materials Science is a rather new field of science concentrating to study the structure and properties of materials and the phenomena occurring in the structure to determine or control the properties.
In the case of wood, one could describe it by a table having one foot in biology, one in chemistry, one in physics and one in engineering science and applications.
As wood is entirely polymeric in structure, one would easily expect that the polymer scientists would be in great majority among the materials scientists studying wood.
In chemistry, the extractives of wood have received great interest as a source of precursors to a multitude of medically important compounds.

Effective complex permittivity measurements of materials are important in microwave engineering and microwave chemistry.
Introduction The microwave energy has been applied to chemistry, materials, and medicine since 1980s.
(5) Simulation and Measurement of Rectangular Cavity Resonator Design and Constructing of a Rectangular Cavity Resonator The rectangular cavity resonator fabricated for our study during the measurements is shown in Figure 1.The measurement structure have three parts: Waveguide coaxial adapter, rectangular waveguide and Short piston.
Structure of rectangular cavity resonator In this paper, rectangle waveguide resonant cavity has been designed and the mode has been determined TE1,0,7 which is one half cycle of a field variation in the x-direction and seven half cycle of a field variation in the z-direction.

Based on lessons from nature, one of the ways how to increase wettability is surface structuring.
Wetting of surfaces is related to surface structuring and surface chemistry.
Smallest possible LBM surface has been 40x enlarged compared to real natural surface structure.
Additionally has been also chosen 100x enlarged structure for comparison.
It must also be pointed out that wetting of surfaces is related not just to surface structuring but also to surface chemistry.

The aim of this work was focused on developing a hydrotalcite by chemistry coprecipitation, which one was tested with one agricultural herbicide used in the region of the "Bajío" of the state of Guanajuato in Mexico.
The compounds like Hydrotalcites are crystalline microporous material with lamellar structure and anion exchange properties.
To incorporate certain substances into the HT, there are known methods such as high-energy milling by planetary mills and the possibility of reconstructing the HT structure by hydration of the oxides with aqueous solutions containing other anions that allowing performs anions exchange.
