Transmission electron microscope (TEM) illustrated the mixed intercalated and partial exfoliated structures of OMMT filled HDPE/EPDM with EB irradiation technique.
The properties of the nanocomposites depend on the chemistry of the nano fillers, polymer and filler compatibility and nanocomposite preparation method and process as well as treatments performed on the nanocomposites [3].
In the case of the MAPE and EB irradiated systems as shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the large aggregates of clay layers had broken down between three and four aggregates corresponding to the intercalation structure.

Spatial structure of landscape ecology is composed by different ecosystems, the interaction function and dynamics.
Introduction Landscape structure refers to the relationship between the distribution of landscape elements landscapes of varying sizes and shapes in space, study its changes over time, the impact of succession and external disturbances on landscape structure.
Landscape diversity means diversity in terms of landscape structure, function and change over time, it reveals the complexity of the landscape.
Long-term material and energy flows can change the landscape structure, while constrained by landscape structure.
Economic development will inevitably lead to changes in the industrial structure, and changes in the industrial structure will lead to the redistribution of land resources, land use change caused.

Raman analysis revealed that increase in deposition pressure from 2 to 5 Torr resulted in the transformation of the film structure from diamond-like-carbon to nanocrystalline diamond structure.
X-ray diffraction was used to study the composition of the crystalline phase composition in the film structure.
The origin of this PL emission could be from the disordered sp3 phases present in the film structure.
The PL emission produced by green light excitation is mainly produced by the non diamond phases in the film structure.

The oxidation state of sulfur on the air side surface of float glass heat-treated in N2/H2 and the bulk samples of the other two were determined by X-ray absorption near edge structure spectra (XANES).
X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) is highly sensitive to the oxidation state and coordination chemistry of the absorbing atom.
The sharper one at 2473.7eV corresponds to 1s to mixed S 3p and metal 3d states which depend upon the electronic structure of the compound [16].

AFM is a 'non-destructive method' and has been used in the characterization of the structure and properties of surfaces [7].
Both of the commercial catalytic reforming catalysts have a kurtosis value Ssk < 3 and the distribution curves are platykurtic (flat and spread out distribution).statistical parameters (Ssk,Sku) show quantitative information about the structure of surface, growth regime, roughness and grain size [14].

The results from the FESEM images confirmed that the clay has a porous structure (Figs. 3(a), 3(b)) and the porous structure remained intact after coated onto the SSWM and calcined at 500°C (Figs. 3(c), 3(d)) and enzyme attachment on the clay surface (Figs. 3(e), 3(f)) was successful.

The most important features of the oxide layer are its thickness, composition, structure, adherence and coherence.
The reaction of an oxidant and a metal may depend on a number of factors Depending on temperature, time, atmosphere conditions and steel chemistry, energy barriers develop, which must be overcome for an oxide to grow.
The structure of scale in electrical steels, which may contain Si up to about 3 wt% have been investigated.
Results and discussion Scale structure.
Figure 1 shows some examples of the scale structure found in the oxidation tests.

To gain a better understanding of the aggregation-structure relationship of the 7 residues of the Yeast prion-like protein, the change in the conformational structure is studied by Transmission Electron Microscopy and will be further studied by 13C solid-state NMR.
It was further noted that two or more filaments were able to associate laterally to form fibrillar structures with a larger diameter.
The RP-HPLC purified SupN peptide obtained from the thrombin cleavage of the GST fused SupN was confirmed by ESIMS and formed a fibrillized amyloid structure.
The fibrillized structure was confirmed by Congo Red binding studies under a polarizing microscope(data not shown, yet green birefringence was observed) and Transmission Electron Microscopy. 13C and 15N chemical shifts in peptides and proteins are quite sensitive to the local secondary structure [11-13].
Thus, 13C chemical shifts can be used in characterizing the secondary structure of the SupN fragments.

In order to obtain a deeper insight into bonding mechanisms of the transition metal in MgH2 relaxed structure, ab initio electronic structure calculation of MgH2 + X (X=Ti, Co) was performed using Full Potential Linearized Augmented Plane Wave method, implemented in WIEN2K code.
The results are discussed in relation to phase composition, structure and microstructural evolution.
The electronic structures and the total binding energies of the (MgH2 +TM, TM =Ti and Co) systems were calculated to examine the hydride stability.
To ascertain the role of catalyst we performed electronic structure calculations.

Additionally, atoms in the machined surface are transformed from diamond cubic structure (Si-I) to β-tin structure (Si-II) and bct5-Si.
The PBC create a continuous model and material structure along the applied axes by connecting parallel sides.
It is clearly demonstrated that the crystalline structure near shear zone is compressed, destroyed and amorphized as the tool moves forward.
The coordination numbers of atoms are mainly fivefold and sixfold in the machined surface, which indicates that atoms in the machined surface were transformed from diamond cubic structure (Si-I) to the β-tin structure (Si-II) and bct5-Si.
