In the experiments polypropylene, polycarbonate and ABS polymers were used as matrix materials.
The prepared materials were characterised by scanning electron microscopy.
We did not find any sign of agglomerates in the materials.
Polypropylene homopolymer, polycarbonate and ABS were used as matrix materials.
The structure of the multiwall carbon nanotubes in the matrix materials was studied by LP-FTIR and heating methods.

The result shows that infrared absorption spectra of pearl and nacre comprise the spectra of nanophase CaCO3 and other unidentified material, this can evidence that nacre is a kind of biologic composite material composed of nanophase calcium carbonate.
All the chemical raw materials are the productions of Shanghai Chemical Reagent Factory production.
