Abstract.
Optical homogeneity of the optical materials directly affects the wavefront quality of the refractive optical system.
Introduction With the development of the construction of large state laser devices, the demand for large calibre optical transparent material soared, while the optical homogeneity is an important indicator for optically transparent materials.
Fig.6 Relation of height and position on the sliced line of the front surface of sample 2 # after rough polishing Fig.7 Relation of optical homogeneity height and position of sample 2# before and after precision polishing Conclusion Accurate measurement of optical homogeneity of the large calibre material was a difficult issue of optics and materials science, because it was mainly limited to the test method relies on precision polishing.
