What’s more, Ceramic particle reinforced metal matrix composite can be made to be functionally graded material(FGM) armor, as the wave impedance, elastic modulus and coefficient of thermal expansion of the FGM armor can change smoothly, the stress concentration existing in the interface of common composite armor materials will be greatly reduced.
Berezovski [4] etc studied the propagation of stress waves in functionally graded materials.

Materials and Methods Preparation of Adsorbents.
To evaluate the effect of materials concentration, mixed suspensions of 0.1 g of the materials and variable volumes of dye solution, to a constant concentration, what would give solid/solution quotient (materials concentration) of 10, 5, 2.5, 1 and 0.5 g/L, were prepared.
This is in relation with the solute transfer rate onto the materials surfaces, which decreased with increasing material concentration [10].
This applies to both S and SNHC materials.
