We simulate the failure process of brittle materials.
According to the characteristics of brittle materials, select the first strength theory as a failure criterion and a damage model suitable for brittle materials.
Introduction The combination of mechanics and materials science from the macro to the micro-level research materials, mechanical properties and the relevant physical, chemical, and biological nature of the interaction has become today even for a long period of time a solid mechanics species tend to.

Crude petroleum filters were prepared from low-cost materials based on kaolin powder and combustible materials as palm fronds powder which acts as pore creating agent.
Materials and Methods 2.1 Filters Preparation The clay material was used in this research was obtained from the west desert (Dwekhla) kaolin deposits in Iraq.
The X-Ray study gives information on changes in the raw materials phase (kaolin).
Ohji: submitted to Journal of Materials Research (2003)

In the previous experimental investigations, different gaseous coolant [1-4], liquid alcohol and water [5-10]was used as transpiration cooling media, and different porous materials, such as C/C, porous ceramic (91% Al2O3 and 9%SiO2) and metal net structure, were used as transpiration cooling matrixes.
These investigations concluded that the cooling effect of gaseous coolant is limited, but liquid coolant has a large potential to achieve a higher cooling capacity per unit mass due to its large latent heat released by liquid phase change, sintered metal materials have significant advantages in controllable permeability and better machining property.

metallic bonding materials, organic bonding materials, and resin bonding materials.
Its kerf loss is small so that it can improve utilization of materials and is particularly attractive for machining expensive hard and brittle materials.
According to the bonding materials, there are three basic categories of diamond wire saws, i.e. metallic bonding materials, organic bonding materials and resin bonding materials.
