This paper explores the possibilities of adaptive façades with the aim to furnish a framework for their design.
The paper pays specific attention to the façade design with the aim to highlight current trends and future perspectives.
Biobased PCMs are organic compounds derived from animal fat and plant oils.
Shape memory materials are for example some alloys or polymers triggered by different temperatures [29].

In [4] the effect of shot peening on a low-alloy steel is analysed and the synergetic effect of the very hard layer due to nitriding and of the residual stress field induced by shot peening evidenced.
In [5] the effect of shot peening on contact fatigue behaviour of 40Cr steel after a compound heat treatment that includes nitriding is analysed and the different failure modes under different pressure values are underlined.
In [7] the fatigue strength of a shot-peened nitrided low-alloy steel is investigated and the choice of the peening parameters is optimised by means of design of experiments.
A correspondence of this result with the one that derives from the application of the Murakami formula looked for, being the aim to assess if this latter is able to correctly describe the threshold behaviour of the nitrided and shot peened material.

Toward this aim, the influence of the chemical nature of the carrier gas (either H2 or Ar) on the quality of the P+ deposit and the electrical characteristics of the P/N junction was investigated.
After the VLS sequence, the residual Al-Si alloy was wet etched using alternates of acid and basic solutions.
We believe that the pits are the visible imprints of Al4C3 parasitic inclusions because this compound gets more stable when the Si content of the liquid phase gets too low [3].

This paper aimed to substitute high content of Tb (x=1.5) into YIG to achieve Tb1.5Y1.5Fe5O12 nanoparticls garnet films despite an ionic radius of Tb3+ (1.043Å)[16] is larger than that for Y3+( 0.829Å)[17] A sol-gel was employed to prepare the films due to its capability in producing homogenous films in nano range despite its low cost and cheap apparatus[15].
The film was heated at 90°C for 2 hours to get rid of residual solvent, and then followed by 350˚C for 15min at heating rate of 3° C/min to burn-off the organic compounds.

Thus, chemical compounds traditionally used as coatings (carbides, nitrides, and oxides) have significantly higher Е and lower μ values as compared to the base metal.
The aim of this work is to study the mechanical properties of a local diffusion discrete oxide coating on tool materials.

In many ceramics, as in the case of ferrites, there is reaction of forming new solid phases, polymorphic transformations, decomposition of compounds to form new crystalline phases [13].
In this context, this study aims to evaluate the sintering in a conventional oven and microwave oven nanopowders of Ni-Zn ferrite synthesized previously by microwave energy and thus develop materials with microstructures appropriate for the development of soft magnetic materials.
