Introduction Silicas have been widely employed to create high-performance or high-functional composites by combination with organic materials over the last few decades.
The sol-gel process provides a convenient approach to the synthesis of organic/inorganic composite materials.

Deposition of thin layer of various semiconducting materials such as TiO2, Nb2O5, ZnO and SnO2 on lucid glass plate of FTO or ITO are used to make the working electrode.
The performance of DSSC depends on the propensity of attachment of these natural pigments to the semiconducting materials of working electrode.

Study on Tunable Filtering Characteristic of 1-D defect Photonic Crystal Based on Surface Wave Resonance Ying Chen1, a ,Wei-hong Bi2 and Qi-guang Zhu2 1Institute of Electronical Engineering, Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao, China 2Institute of Information Science and Engineering, Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao, China achenying@ysu.edu.cn Keywords: Biosensor, Photonic crystal, Surface wave resonance, Defect, filtering Abstract.
Introduction Photonic crystals (PC), which was periodic structures of dielectric material in one, two or three-dimension, could exhibit frequency regions in which the propagation of electromagnetic wave is forbidden.
Through designing the periodical structure thickness of the photonic crystal and the material index, the resonant wavelength could be met with the incident wavelength.

Natural materials and the controlled rGO/Fe3O4 microcomposites structure with simple synthesis methods shows the great potential application in high performance microwave absorbing materials.
Carbonyl iron and ferrite powders such as barium hexaferrite are becoming popular as magnetic materials for MAM.
In general, materials that have magnetic properties can be found in metal materials such as ferrite, nickel, cobalt, while dielectric properties can be found in materials such as carbon and conductive polymers.
In order to increase the absorption of electromagnetic wave based on magnetic materials, the absorber material must have a high initial permeability.
