Very large volume of mined ore materials are processed annually to obtain the various types of minerals that are essential to industrial processes, the upstream tailings dam is usually constructed to store these wastes.

In general the hazardous wastes are heated to dryness and finally leaving as of fine powder form as combined with crushed glass in a furnace to produce molten materials to integrate the waste.
The properties of the selected materials were modelled with data available in the stress analysis ANSYS 12.0 package material property library.
