Data used for tool life evaluation were the mean values of six individual tool lives.
The temperature was lower about 200-300˚C as compared to the high temperature 1000˚C with the cemented carbide inserts [11-12], which indicated that the use of the newly fabricated cermet tools could contribute to substantial reduction of the friction action between the flank and the workpiece and result in a decrease in heat generation.

However, these take into account only few parameters of drawing such as the die angle and reduction ratio.
The schedule of applied reductions is: 4.00→3.40→2.93→2.53→2.18→1.90→1.70 mm.
The flow curves of pearlitic phases are based on the literature data [10-11].

Such a motion reduction mechanism is effective for sub-nanometer and picometer positioning.
The analogue displacement of the table is converted into digital data by an AD converter of the controller.

Increasing the NH3/SiH4 ratio leads to a rapid decrease in the growth rate, which results from the reduction in partial pressure of SiH4 and its enhanced competition with NH3 for available surface site.
The XPS data indicated that most of the silicon present was in the form of a nitride at a binding energy of 101.5-101.8eV with a small amount of silicon present in the form of element at a binding energy of 99.1-99.3eV as the NH3/SiH4 ratio varied between 1 and 2.
A rapid decrease in growth rate was observed with high NH3/SiH4 ratios due to a reduction in the partial pressure of SiH4 and its enhanced competition with NH3 for available surface sites.

From the data presented in Fig. 4 it can be found that applying large values of individual drafts (Variant A - Gav= 26.5 %) in the wire drawing process causes a significant increase in non-dilatational strains.
The greater hardening of sub-surface layers in wires drawn with higher individual drafts might have contributed to the reduction of their bending strength.
Applying large individual drafts in the drawing process results in an increase in the number of twists of wires averagely by 8%, and may contribute to a considerable reduction in their bending strength (by about 20%)

Tooth preparation includes 0.7 mm. labial reduction with a subgingival champfer finish line.
The incisal edge reduction was 1 mm. and a butt joint preparation was chosen to provide more translucency in the incisal region(Fig. 2).
Continued observation and addition of cases will be necessary to extend the data base and provide definitive conclusive evidence for the dependability of the new CAD-CAM restoration techniques.

Thermal residual stresses in the substrate for a GLARE/aluminium combination are tensile in nature and may create a higher mean stress intensity factor at the crack tip and as a consequence a reduction in structural durability.
This leads to high production costs and may lead to the reduction of structural integrity [9].
Results and discussion The data obtained were analysed in depth and for brevity only the hoop stresses are presented here as they are the most important in the cold expansion process.

The reduction of oxygen and harmful non-metallic inclusions has led to significantly improved properties of rolling bearing steels [2,5].
In this case a reduction of the load carrying capacity of the bearing has to be taken into account.

This sample was cold rolled to 50% reduction in thickness at room temperature and subsequently rolled further to a total reduction of 86% in thickness at liquid-nitrogen temperature to avoid dynamic recrystallization during rolling.
For our data the depth of the grooves at positions 1-4 is plotted as a function of stopping time (at temperature of 50°C) at these positions (i.e. when the boundary stayed stationary).
