One-way ANOVA and Tukey’s multiple comparison tests at a p<0.05 significance level were used to analyse the data.
Following data collection, statistical analysis was carried out by PASW program (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL).
The normally distributed data were analysed with one-way ANOVA and Tukey’s multiple comparison tests at a 0.05 significance level.
The reduction in strength can be explained by: 1) the increased amount of filler particles within PMMA resin induce stress concentration and produce change in both flexural modulus and propagation of crack, 2) entrapped air and moisture promote void formation within PMMA resin, 3) cross-section of the load-bearing polymer matrix is reduced, 4) incomplete wetting of the fillers by the resin, and 5) some fillers serve as an foreign particles which affect the structural integrity of PMMA resin.

Vibration data acquisition device and Datalog DasyLab 5.6 software were used to analyze machining vibration.
Germain et al. [14] used Laser Assisted Machining (LAM) of Inconel 718 and obtained significant reduction of cutting force using carbide inserts.
National Instruments Data Acquisition (NI DAQ-9172) device and Datalog DasyLab 5.6 software were used to record and analyze the vibration during the machining operations (Fig. 4).
Fig. 4: Schematics of the data acquisition system Fig. 3: Picture of SEM JSM-T330 Three primary process parameters were chosen: (1) Cutting speed (Vc, m/min), (2) Feed rate (f, mm/tooth), and Depth of cut (DOC, mm).

The experiment focused on the effects of various oxidants on reduction in fouling and improvement in quality of treated water. 0.5mg/L of ozone, 1.5mg/L of sodium hypochlorite and 0.3mg/L of potassium permanganate were added before membrane to reduce the fouling.
Coagulation and oxidation pretreatment aimed at the reduction of negative effect of membrane fouling.
As can be seen from data presented in iron of permeate water was almost below 0.1mg/L, which met CDWR well.

To develop the heat storage media for therapeutic heat applications, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were loaded onto silica sand surface using chemical reduction method.
Sample preparation: Silver nanoparticles were directly synthesized onto silica sand surface using a chemical reduction method.[5] The reducing solution, containing a stabilizer, was prepared by dissolving 0.25 g of fructose and 0.025 g of diammonium hydrogen citrate in 250 mL deionized water.
In fact, the silica sand can retain heat, but has low heat conduction ability with high specific heat value (800 J·kg-1·K-1) [6] and low isotropic thermal conductivity (0.26 W·m-1·K-1) [7] (data taken from silica sand with a density of 1500 kg.m-3).

Analysis of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) displayed the reduction of hydroxyl group in nitrocellulose proving that several hydroxyl group in cellulose was successfully replaced by nitryl group.
This is the preliminary studies where the data will be used for further investigations using an optimization tool, Response Surface Method (RSM) in finding optimum condition in order to enhance NC production for propellant uses.
Analysis of FTIR also displayed the reduction of hydroxyl group in nitrocellulose proving that several hydroxyl group in cellulose was successfully replaced by nitryl group.

Obtain grain size is higher than the reported data of pure NBT material grain size[11].
Thus, the obtained reduction in emission of PL intensity of the poled ceramic is due to the enhancement of higher symmetric orthorhombic (pbnm) phase fraction and reduction of lower symmetric structure monoclinic (Cc phase) phase fraction (as confirmed from structure analysis).
A significant reduction in PL intensity was observed for the poled ceramic.
Reduction of PL emission intensities in the effect of electric poling is associated with enhancement of higher symmetric orthorhombic (Pbnm) phase fraction and reduction of lower symmetric structure monoclinic (Cc) phase fraction.

A H/E was
calculated from the obtained hardness (H) and Young's modulus (E) data.
The reduction in hardness of Ti-B-C-N with increase in Si target power is most likely due to a reduction in hard TiB2 based crystallites.
On the other hand, the hardness reduction with further increase of Si target power above 200W can be explained by either an increase in the soft amorphous TiSi2, SiC, and SiB4 phases or reduction of hard TiB2 based crystallites or both.
The minimum friction coefficient can be explained by the reduction of the carbon and hydroxide phases in the Ti-Si-B-C-N coatings.

Chung reported that identification
of all the toxic compounds used in textile production is very difficult because of the huge variety of
chemicals used and the lack of data on their toxicity.
Therefore, the objectives of this study were to determine which wastewater stream had greatest toxicity after treated with TF and AS biomasses for 12 hours and to assess the extent of toxicity reduction by biological treatment.
Upon addition of ATP, the ATPase enzyme (complex V) couples energy from the oxidation of ATP to ADP and uses it to drive the reduction of NAD+ to NADH.

Introduction
Before fuzzifing any time series data, it is necessary to determine the universe of discourse, to define the fuzzy set and to partition the set first.
Defining the fuzzy sets and fuzzifying the data.
From the matrix model (8), the fuzzified variation can be described as following: (9) Data information The data are obtained from AREMOS economic database, which includes the value of Taiwan exports and the foreign exchange spot rate from January 1995 to March 2002, with a total of 87 data points.
Due to possible influence of information period on forecasting power, information period length is controlled for and separated into three sample sets, a short period of 27 data points (01/2000 to 03/2002), a middle term of 51 data points (01/1998 to 03/2002) and a long period of 87 data points (01/1995 to 03/2002).
At different length periods, how prior information, interval partition, increment data and setting of fuzzy model affect model forecasting power are discussed.

With the means of thermodynamic calculation and alloy smelting, the reaction of Mg-Y-Mishmetal-Zr melt in the process of smelting is studied and the relevant thermodynamic data are obtained.
At the same time, it brings a series of problems, such as the reaction between covering flux and alloy elements and reduction of the element yield.
The data are shown in Fig.2.
