We report significant reductions of laser energy densities for crystallization by modifying the Gaussian pulse profile, while retaining the controlled evolution of hydrogen from hydrogenated amorphous silicon films.
The rms roughness of each film was calculated from atomic force microscopic data, obtained using a Digital Instruments Dimension 3100 scanning probe microscope.

Ergonomic risk factors were identified by means of qualitative and quantitative data from general survey, participative assessments, and direct observations.
There was a reduction in WMSDs comprising backache and legs ache, and other OHS such as tiredness and dizziness, as a result of ergonomic risk factors being removed.

Experimental data indicate that a decrease of about 58 per cent in kerf taper angle can be obtained under a given condition.
This permits an analytic reduction of certain integrals that express the distance traveled along a PH curve at constant or variable feedrate during one sampling interval of the CNC system.
As shown in Fig 2, the inner and outer kerf taper angle respectively are 3.32° and 2.93° at R=20mm, a decrease of about 58 per cen relative to 3.10° of straight-line (R=∞) compared with 3.65° and 2.72° by ordinary interpolator. The experimental data still indicate that the kerf taper angles on the two kerf walls in AWJ contouring are not equal in value.

Additionally, the reference mixture (L) exhibit 16% higher compressive strength (61.6 MPa) as opposed to the IC mixtures (51.8 MPa) considering all the available data.
Considering that the reference mixtures exposed to hot environmental conditions exhibit a reduction in compressive strength, the aforementioned observation can be attributed to the internal curing.
It seems that the hot environmental curing regime is affecting negatively (11% reduction on the average) the porosity of the reference mixtures.
Furthermore, despite the fact that the mixtures cast at 22oC have the highest initial permeability, which is reasonable, the reduction rate of the specific series is 30% higher than the rest of the mixtures, yielding to similar RCP values at 90 days.
The mixtures cured in water tanks with constant temperature as opposed to the exposed mixtures observed a RCP reduction rate of 47 % higher whereas the reference mixtures exhibited a 27 % higher reduction rate compared to the IC mixtures.

A generalized use of plasticizing chemical admixtures leads to a further cement reduction (Tool 3).
Mehta and Meryman [8] state that the combined use of tools 1 and 3 may give a reduction of 30 % in cement consumption.
In total the reduction might become about (0.7 x (2800 x 0.6 x 0.8) = ) 941 million tons/year, being the 1990 emission rate.
This evolution is important, and contributes considerably in the evolution of construction industry to sustainability through environmental protection, energy saving and reduction of demolition waste.

In the industrial sphere, power plants have the greatest potential capacities of CO2 reduction.
The energy derived from the biomass may be considered to substitute for fossil fuel and therefore the recovery of energy from biomass is considered to contribute to a reduction in the carbon dioxide emissions.
b) Pyrolysis of wood and energy production A higher grade of reduction in CO2 emissions compared to biomass combustion can be achieved by the process of pyrolysis of wood and other forms of biomass, production of biochar and C sequestration in the biochar [20].
The addition of biochar to the soil allowed for a 70% reduction of nitrous oxide fluxes from soil [21].

To analyse the Dit across the entire SiC bandgap one may combine the electrical data on n- and ptype MOS capacitors obtained from capacitance and ac conductance-voltage measurements [5,8,9].
In line with this observation it was found that the application of specific anti-carbon surface cleaning steps (UV-ozone exposure) may effectuate a significant reduction in the SiC/SiO2 Dit [15].
When reducing the SiC bandgap width from 4H- to 6H- and further to 15R-SiC, one observes a systematic improvement in the surface electron mobility suggesting a reduction in Dit.
Recently a drastic Dit reduction near the conduction band was reported for the more narrow-gap 3CSiC [29].
Electrical analysis indicates a significant reduction of Dit in such nitrided oxides as compared to the standard dry O2 oxidation.

Optical absorption coefficient (α) for PEDOT:PSS thin film on glass is then calculated using Eq. (2) at different wavelengths using the reflection and transmission data from the UVVISNIR spectrophotometer measurements [13].
The significant reduction in the WAR is attributed to combination of enhanced light coupling by the nanotextures and increased light scattering by the underlying microscale pyramids [11,17].
After depositing PEDOT:PSS, all the samples (including planar reference c-Si) show further reduction in the WAR due to the ARC nature of the polymer.
Further reduction of WAR by 1.5% (from 9.2% to 7.7%) and 2.0% (from 7.2% to 5.2%) is evident for PEDOT:PSS deposited on b-Si and hybrid textures respectively.
The non-conformal coating causes an increased in Rs, which leads to a slight reduction in effective nh and an increase in µh.
